Cozy log cabin in the Alps of Arizona

We loved this cabin! Connie was easy to communicate with, house was clean and had everything we needed! Highly recommend this place!

Cabin was comfortable and cozy. Enjoyed that I could bring my dog. Has a beautiful view and saw Elk wandering through the neighborhood. I would love to stay here again.

Loved our stay at this Cabin including the wrap around deck, quiet location, beautiful views, clean and fully stocked home. We also enjoyed the antique home decor.The call from our host Connie, to prep us for our stay was welcome & helpful to us. Hope we can stay again.

the cabin was fantastic, nice size bedrooms with a great kitchen which had everything needed to prepare meals. the cabin was located a short distance from the Alpine elk herd and it was nice to sit with a cup of coffee and listen to the elk bugle. Connie was an awesome host and who made the stay nice and easy.

Connie is sweet and her Cozy Cabin is exactly what we were looking for.

This place is great for both: short-term and long-term stay. The cabin is clean, tastefully decorated, with comfortable beds, the kitchen is fully stocked and has everything one can think of if they decide to cook. The bathroom has plenty of towels and essential toiletries. We stayed there in early August and although it would get pretty hot inside during the day, it cools down really nicely in the evening if you keep the windows open. The area is safe and quiet, the location is convenient for accessing anything in town. Communication with the host was easy.I would definitely come back to stay here again!

We found this cabin to be very comfortable and it had everything we needed to make our visit one to remember!

Cute and clean little cabin. Walking distance to town. The daytime got warm inside, but the ceiling fan in the living room overlapped with the skylight, creating a very uncomfortable strobe light effect, so we were unable to use it.

Lovely place near a large open glade with bugling elk. Had everything we needed for our stay and would rent again.

Rental was spotless Was looking for a rental with two real bedrooms. Most of the rentals in this area have a completely open main floor with a loft, perhaps. The open loft contains a bed. A second bed is provided in some corner area of the main floor. Some didn't even have taht and claimed a sleep-sofa as the second bed. Not what I wanted. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with more items tahn I would ever need. Bathroom was clean. Had a regular showerhead, not one those misters some rentals use to save on water. Had wifi. A little slow, but adequate to check email, news, and voice phone. The night temps dropped to around 40-deg. Did not use the provided heaters. Would be happy to rent for future visits

Loved the cabin and the countryside. Went fishing and hiking at two of the surrounding lakes and visited a local chili cookoff. Fantastic scenery and Connie was a most gracious host. Would recommend this cabin to anyone seeking a peaceful vacation

Cozy cabin in a quiet area with beautiful views. Wrap around porch where you can always find a spot in the shade.

This cabin is wonderful! Communication with the hosts beforehand was great. We didn’t need anything during the stay. They were clear to just call if we did, though. The location is walking distance to the Alpine town center, but you’d need a stroller or wagon if you have little kids. The owner let us know this during our pre-trip conversation. (She’s got the information provision down!) If you want something super remote, you’d have to go to the outskirts of town. We saw the neighbors a few times, but no one seemed bothered. The wrap-around deck was lovely, and the views were great. Parental note: the staircases on the deck have gates. Our kids are four and two. This made it easy for us to sit out there while the kids ran around without worrying (too much…) about escapism or tumbles down stairs. There were lots of wildflowers to pick in the backyard and a gorgeous fire pit. They also provide LOTS of towels and blankets, a fully stocked kitchen, and direct TV. It’s thoughtfully decorated and clearly a beloved spot for their family. Now, it’s a beloved one for ours, too! Thank you!

We’ve stayed multiple times at this cabin and always have a wonderful time. The cabin is clean and has everything you need for your stay. The view out to the meadow is beautiful. We even saw a large heard of elk out in the meadow a couple of days.

Good location to town & family. It was what we were expecting. Only complaint is the pans. They are scratched & need to be replaced.

The cabin was cute & comfortable. Location was a little disappointing; not the views expected. Our stay was cut short by medical emergency, so can't comment much further.

The cabin is very well equipped. We did not use half of what was available in the kitchen. The wood burning stove was a nice touch and worked well. it was not that cold in Alpine when we were there but we loved watching the glow of the fire every evening. The cabin was large and could easily accommodate a family of five. We would definitely stay in Connie’s cozy cabin again.
