This little log cabin, with its spiral staircase to the sleeping loft and ample front porch, was a lovely retreat, tucked into the woods, a few miles out of town. It was very clean. And the kitchen was stocked with all the necessary pots, pans, utensils, needed (including dish soap -which was nice, since we forgot to bring ours). We had an issue with the hot water. And it was taken care of very quickly. My only wish would have been more comfortable seating in the living area. There is a single bed there, in lieu of a couch. But only one padded chair. Difficult for two people to read indoors. Would definitely recommend for one to four people.
Great cabin and beautiful property.
Great experience! Cabin was cozy and clean. Love being in the woods and the other cabins aren't to close but far away that you didn't hear the next cabin over. Daughter had an accident the first night in bed and when I texted i need to know if they could send me new sheets or do i need t head wash themselves; the reply was in timely matter and got sheets (note: my fault for not telling them which size but i did get clean sheets). No complaint at all. We are planning out next visit.
Enjoyed the cabin
We stayed in the Gambler cabin. It was decorated so cute. The cabin was very clean with everything we needed. We arrived after dark, but was a very easy check-in process. Listening to the elk bugle was amazing. The entire property is covered in Pine Trees with an open meadow below. It was everything we could were hoping for and more. For older occupants, please note that the main bedroom is up a spiral staircase and the bathroom is downstairs. For us, it was the perfect cabin in the woods. We will be staying there again in the future.
Excellent but no wifi.....which is good to unplug but unexpected for our teenager
We always enjoy staying at these cabins!
rustic cabin, would likely stay there again. Very quite with lots of trees and plenty of outdoor space. Only downside is under the beds There dirty socks, some trash and crumbs. I’d probably bring my own vacuum next time since we have young kids that like to play on the floor.
Nice rustic cabin, all you need for a warm place to stay when you come back from a long day of hunting.
I had decided to do a solo trip to escape the craziness of my world for a few days and I was able to do just that. Out of all 8 cabins I was the only one there. It was peaceful and exactly what I needed for a couple days. I already have a bunch of people asking for the location to book and I gladly recommend it.
I would definitely stay there again. Will recommend it to my family and friends
