Short family getaway. We truly enjoyed this cozy cottage on the lake that has everything you need to relax, unwind and disconnect. Beautiful views from sunrise to sunset. Highly recommend to those who want simplicity, peace and quiet, and simply disconnect from the busy world. Very responsive and helpful owner as well if you need to connect with him.
Our friends and I had a wonderful stay in this sweet little cabin for the weekend. It had direct water access with kayaks and a floating dock, as well as a fire pit. The cabin was clean and was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Would absolutely stay here again!
My family (two adults and two kids under 10) had a great time here during our two days and three nights. The location was fantastic, as were the amenities. We had a great time using the host-supplied canoe, pedal boat, and kayaks (with host-supplied life jackets) for both boating and fishing, and we also enjoyed swimming in the pond. The kitchen worked well for preparing the bass we caught in the pond, and the outside grill was perfect for grilling veggies. At night, we used the host-supplied fire pit and host-supplied wood/kindling to make a fire and have s'mores. The cabin itself is cozy, clean, and comfortable. One note: as a handwritten note informed us upon arrival, the tap water has a sulphuric smell/taste, so even though it's supposed to be fine for drinking, we ended up getting a few gallons of drinking water to have during our stay. We would definitely stay here again.
Our stay was great. It was very peaceful. There were many things there to use on the pond. I will definitely be keeping this place in mind to stay at again.
