It was like staying home. I didn’t miss anything I would have used at home. Even had a Labrador Retriever to greet us. We would come back again.
Perfect for piece and quiet. Would be beautiful area in the fall. Very clean and kids loved the old basketball hoop and fire ring. You hear a lot of wildlife in the morning and at sunset. Kids loved Ganoe the old dog that checks on you during your stay.
We had a wonderful time. Anything we could possible need/require was provided. The beds are very comfortable. Lots of windows to let in light. We love it here.
Once again, we enjoyed our time at this wonderful getaway in the woods. Anything a person could want is provided. Bob is a wonderful host and his faithful canine's visits were most welcome.A good spot to make day trips to Copper Falls state park, Bayfield and other locations. We will be coming back to be sure!!Tim and family
Loved the simple peaceful feeling! The cabin was wonderfully clean! The area is gorgeous! Very remote!
Nice place Well appointed
Other then the weather everything was perfect. Comfortable bed. Lots of open space.
Nice clean cabin. Enjoyed our stay. 2nd stay. ATV trails close by.
Everything was nice and clean and very comfy. The host is very nice, there are trails around the property for the short walk. The sky at night is gorgeous, you can see a LOT of stars and the Milky Way galaxy. It is very dark and quiet at night, there is a fire pit, wood burning stove and other things that make the place very cozy. If you are willing to drive, there are many attractions nearby. The little play house looks like it was not used in some time, so keep that in mind. Overall a great property to stay at, has everything that you can ask for and more.
This is an excellent place to stay for a vacation. The cabin is comfortable and has all the amenities of home. The open floor plan was perfect for visiting with family and friends. The owner of the property has thought of everything you will need for a comfortable and pleasant stay. We will definitely stay at Resinosa again!
Resinosa was a perfect place for our visit to the Bois Brule.
We had the very best time during our stay. Everything we could have wanted or needed was provided. Cozy and warm with the fireplace. Awesome walks with the dogs. Resident pooch paid visits as did owner, Bob. We love it here so very much!! Have two more bookings in 2023. Thank you, Bob!!
Very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Perfect for those that want to enjoy a hike or snowshoe around the many acres this property has to offer. Brule river fishing and canoing close by. Enjoyed watching the deer outside the window. Worked well for my husband in manual wheelchair, we just needed our small portable ramp for one step. Doors were wide and one bedroom had ample space for his chair. We will return some day, loved it.
This property is perfect for those looking for a quiet stay in a beautiful location with that log cabin feeling. Access to Brule River is nearby, snowshoe on private trails over beautiful acreage, bring cross country skis as ski trails are near as well as ATV and snowmobile trails. Awesome senic trails for hiking. Spouse in manual wheelchair had no issue here. Bring a small portable ramp for front porch step and a bench seat for bathtub. Bathroom has plenty of room to manuver, doorways are ample and master bedroom worked well for whch. Watch the deer, enjoy a woodstove fire or campfire and it is a perfect area for stargazers. Owner is easy to contact and very helpful and caring. We will return qhen we can.
We came up to ride snowmobiles and had a great stay. From the well stocked kitchen to the wood burning stove and comfortable beds, we had a very nice experience! Thank you.
This is a great home to stay . Yes it felt like home. It is a beautiful lication. Bob is nearby and available if needed. We did not want ti leave. We will stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay. Its a geat place to stay especially if you like privacy, rustic, nature and the outdoors. About an hour drive to state parks; which we expected.. If you like quiet, dark starry skies and the beautiful sounds of nature, you’ll love this. It’s comfortable and has many of the conveniences of a modern home, yet it’s out in the boondocks, which is what we loved. Great manager with excellent, quick responses to our questions. It’s quite a drive to stores and restaurants but we were prepared so not to inconvenient. If we’re able, we’d gladly come again.
Great interaction with owner, the description was spot on.
We enjoyed our stay, very relaxing and quiet. Will definitely book again!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cabin. Everything we needed was provided, the kitchen was fully stocked. Spent most of our time there in the sunroom, which is a wonderful, bright room with windows on three sides. For those who like to play games, there were lots of them provided. Our little dog settled right in and enjoyed her walks along the trails. Really liked the quiet and the darkness -- lots more stars than can be seen in the city. All in all a great place to stay and we'd like to stay there again sometime.
Secluded, quiet, clean, lots of wildlife and beautiful place! If you want to get away from all the commercialization… this is the place! The owner, Bob is very nice and his dog too! Loved it here and would highly recommend! Thank you for sharing this great place!!
Bob was very friendly and is available when contacted by text. He lives within walking distance so if anything is needed, he is there but he respects your privacy. Resinosa cabin was very spacious and comfortable. Forest trails around property and state trails close by. Heard a wide variety of bird calls and the occasional turkey. Deer sightings are common. My only complaint was a hard mattress making it difficult to sleep, but there was a fold up mattress in the closet that I put on top of the hard mattress and that helped. I brought this to Bob's attention and he was appreciative of the feedback and said he would look into getting a pillow top to put on the hard mattress. Would definitely stay again.
Loved the extra details like the games, Christmas lights in the dining area, two tables!, lots of cozy places to sit and relax. Wide open space for kids to run! Ganoe was awesome, too. The charcoal grill was convenient to use and all the supplies we needed were there. Hope to stay there again. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet retreat.
