We loved our stay at this fantastic home. It was very spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was great because it feels secluded, but is close enough to restaurants and a grocery. We would love to stay again.
Such a perfect house for a quick getaway. There was plenty of space for everyone and the kids loved all the toys that were available to them, it was perfect.
This was such a lovely little cottage in the woods. There was lots of dog hair on the couch and rugs when we arrived. And our first night after setting the temp to 73 for sleep, it reset itself to 65. We woke up freezing! Other than that, it is a magical little cottage and we loved our time there!
Foxberry is a cute cabin with lots of charm and character. The kitchen and bathroom are clean and nicely updated. There was plenty of room for our family of five adults. The wifi was strong enough for us to work part of the day from home. The location was perfect for easily enjoying a day of skiing or snowshoeing on the mountain. It is also close to a grocery and restaurants. Upon arriving there was no central heat and we had to rely on the fireplace and space heaters to stay warm. VACASA took care of the matter as soon as possible and credited our account for the inconvenience which we highly appreciated. Thank you so much!
Great little cozy cabin. Perfect for our extended family.
This property is well decorated, and some updates (new kitchen) have been made, bedrooms are cute. However our experience started with a dirty floor and garbage/half empty bottles in the kitchen upon entering the house. The description on the vrbo website states there is no air conditioning, but there is heating in the cabin. To be clear, there is no central heat to this cabin at the time of our booking. The insulation in the walls of the house are close to non-existent. There is a “mud room” type entryway to the house which is all non-insulated windows and walls that make the house very very drafty. The “heating” in this house includes three working space heaters, and a fireplace. What’s more, if you turn the space heaters on high, it will trip the electrical breaker on the house. We stayed in this cabin for four days, and reset different breakers constantly throughout our stay. This cabin experience was slightly better than camping. It’s a cute cottage, and if we had expected this sort of “roughing it” it’s a lovely adventurous home and great location, but if you are looking for comfort and warmth this is not the home for you. The electrical situation is slightly better than terrifying. There are extension cords everywhere and running through the walls as their house wiring. My kids loved the place. It has the cutest 2 kids bedrooms with lots of toys and books for the kids to enjoy. It has a toddler rail you can set up on the toddler beds which were great to have. It even has a kids table and chairs downstairs, a big yard to explore, and a playhouse outside. Very kid-friendly setup. Beware of the steep, shallow stairs however.
We had such a great time at this cabin. Very clean, a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, plenty of heaters, a great play space. We would definitely book this again.
This was a great place to get away. Although it is an older home, with so many cool older details, it has all the modern convivences. Lots of room for our family of three. Nice deck to relax on in the evening! It has a great bedroom for the little ones, with awesome toys! My 5 yr old grand-daughter loved it! Lots of room outside for our dog to explore. Friendly neighbor! We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you to our hosts! :)
