The cabin we stayed in was very clean and comfortable. There was a nice wood stove that kept the cabin warm and cozy at night. There was a brand new, large grill on the back deck. The beds were very comfortable and the linens were clean. The faucet in the kitchen made a loud thumping sound when we ran the water. I would have also appreciated measuring cups and spoons. Overall, we really enjoyed staying at the ranch!

This cabin was just what we needed - a cozy mountain escape. It was secluded and quiet with lots of mountain activities. A gorgeous wake up coffee on the balcony overlooking the mountains. Plenty of hiking through the woods. S'more's and family time. The main bed was very comfortable with a foam mattress topper. The kids bed didn’t have this, but they slept fine. They did wish to separate and sleep in the cot, but there were no extra sheet sets for the cot. Extra blankets would have been nice too. The kitchen could have used some extra cleaning before we arrived as I think we were the first of the season and I cleaned all the dishes before I used them (not so relaxing). Bonus: there were some basics in the kitchen like salt and oils. Toilet was broken and bathroom missing a curtain. Unable to fix this during our 3 night stay but we managed. Very receptive and kind check in service and beautiful property.

The cabin had a nice view and was very cozy w the wood stove. I was expecting a bit more based on the price (essentially 400/night w all taxes and fees). The kitchen and bathroom situation need some work. The grounds were ok- a lot of delapidated buildings and such. There were a bunch of chickens/roosters in make shift cages in an old barn which was a little disturbing. They were relatively attentive and have a great dog that will hang out w you.

Our holiday weekend at the ranch was wonderful!! Upon arrival, Evan was very helpful and informative and made us feel right at home! My husband broke his eye glasses and Evan immediately came with glue and duct tape to save the day! The horseback riding experience was phenomenal! Liebert took us on a mountain trail that brought us out onto a beautiful vista of the Blue Ridge Mountains! My only feedback would be that before coming I thought the cabin on the front of the VRBO was the one we were staying in and that the horses would be closer to our cabin. It's a 15 minute drive to the other side of the property to the horse barn but what an extraordinary mountaintop ranch!! It is breath taking!!! Thank you for a wonderful weekend of great memories!!!
