Our family had a great time in this cabin! With 2 adults and 3 kids (7, 10 & 17), the cabin felt homey and comfortable to suit our needs. The cabin sits right on a hill overlooking a beautiful view of the Yellowstone river and is near many activities that can be done in the park. Would definitely recommend to families!

The cabin was clean and the beds were comfortable I wish it would have been a little bit bigger since there were 5 of us but it would be perfect for 4 the ladder for the loft was a bit scary especially if you had a few drinks but it was super close to the park and we saw elk and antelope every morning from the balcony we had a great time

The view of the Yellowstone River from the back porch is outstanding. The owner also provided fresh baked cinnamon bread which was a nice extra. Some of the space in the unit was fundamentally unusable because it was up a ladder which was not feasible for us as 60 somthings. We had to lower our overall score because of the parry issues. Parking is extremely tight and other folks had multiple cars despite only having one assigned spot. We are thankful we were able to leave without our rental car being crushed.

Well, I like to give honest opinions on my experiences, so here are my thoughts. With a 4 out of 5 rating, I would come back: *Excellent location, very close to everything in town and to Yellowstone *VERY clean place *Excellent view of the river below and mountains across the river *Kitchen seemed to have everything one would need, but we only used it for drinks and toast/coffee *Baked bread upon arrival was nice touch *cabin had fans and a central heating/cooling unit. Breezes off the river were great *free laundry machines are a very welcome option A few small glitches and/or disclosures: *It’s a cabin...no closets or dressers, so be prepared to live out of your suitcases on the floor *TV service would be nice to have for the little downtime we had. Not everyone has streaming service *loft bed has no headboard and I was worried my pillow would push thru the screen and fall out *the little alleyway where we entered and parked is a little rough looking, first impression *bathroom vanity could use smaller bowl so you have counter space to put your immediate stuff. I plopped my toiletries kit in the sink and pulled from it getting ready *conflicting checkout times on my documentation *suggest you update the written welcome instructions in the cabin. Garbage location was different from those left on fridge, and contact name was different from the two women listed in the email. Just some honest feedback. We’d stay here again.

We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed our stay. Liza responded to our needs and requests graciously. We read previous reviews about the taverns, cigarette smoke and noise, in addition to warm conditions. We didn't experience any issues with the taverns, people or tourists whatsoever. We stayed from Thursday to Monday and the only noise we heard were coyotes on Sunday night. The Eagle's Nest is hospitable and what you would expect from a rustic getaway with some creature comforts. Enjoy your stay - we did!!

The Cozy Eagles Nest is a very good place to stay while visiting Yellowstone. You can hear the sounds of the river, which is very comforting, and the view of the mountains is really great. We had all the pots and pans we needed to cook two meals per day, so we saved a lot of money on food. I would recommend this cabin to anyone who wants a nice place to stay close to Yellowstone.

Convenient to the Park and Gardiner restaurants. The cabin might be considered cozy by some, but I thought it quite cramped for two adults. Little storage space, confined sleeping areas (the loft was really not usable for the less nimble) and, if you were cooking in, tight counter space for appliances and prep work. The deck and grille were fine, but the outside furniture needs updating. No on-site parking was somewhat inconvenient for us.

Awesome place – location was everything. Nice to drink coffee on the deck overlooking the Yellowstone river. Beautiful view of the mountains in the park. Saw elk in town or from our balcony every day. The little bookshop and Café right in front of the place was delicious. It was just my husband and I, so we had plenty of room. Grocery store was walking distance.

Very very very small. Laundry is not in the home so not very convenient. Very hot with only one AC window unit in living room space. No fan in main bedroom we moved some fans around to make it a little better for us. Lighting in living room was very bad. We gained more light with the fridge door open. Not able to park in from of house have to park in the street. The view was beautiful next to Yellowstone river but the deck was small for all 4 of us to enjoy at once. Love the location and the small cute town of Gardiner. Was very clean. Would I stay there again No.

Cozy place. Neat, clean and tidy. The view was beautiful and hearing the river was calming. Loved being close to the Yellowstone park entrance. The young ones loved the loft. Some drawbacks: There is internet but it is shared making it slow. There is not much storage. The lighting in the living room (ceiling fan with light) was not very bright making it hard to play games. The tv was not working.

The house is darling and perfect for our family of 6. The location is right in the heart of Gardiner. The river right out the door. We rafted with flying pig and got free pictures. The lighting in the living room could have been better. It was too dark to play games and not having a parking spot next to the house was not ideal. Also, the TV wasn’t working. Only gave us a blue screen.

Property was nice, check in was a breeze and very convenient to everything. The drawbacks were minimal : the bath is very small and no storage for personal items, the pillows on the bed need an upgrade in a bad way. They were all flat as a pancake. Some boards on the deck need replacing as they are rotting and giving way under your feet. The deck was very nice by the river.

Three adults stayed here for the week to explore Yellowstone NP. Great location and great little walkable town. The cabin is well equipped with standard essentials for cooking although we did not do much other than eggs for breakfast. We appreciate the use of the cooler to allow us to pack lunch for the day. Cabin was clean and beds comfortable. Great views off the porch too! We used the bunk room for luggage as first floor bedroom has minimal space. Hostess is very responsive.

This property had many good features-location, quiet, good beds, and all we needed for a base to our visit to Yellowstone . The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood quiet . However, the bunk bed is not really a bunk bed because the top bunk is very close to the ceiling and not suitable for anyone, even a child. As well, there was one large fry pan that was useless it burned everything. The oven was so filthy that we could not use it. These may seem like small things but they are important to a family that already pays top dollar and expects to be able to prepare meals. Also, we had trouble with the cabin locks and our host did not respond to our plea for help. Very dissappointing

The Eagles Nest is a great little cabin right on the banks of the Yellowstone River at the entrance to Yellowstone National Park. It is 5 minutes from the Roosevelt Arch entrance and walking distance to virtually everything in Gardiner. The views of the mountains and the river are unmatched! It was very well stocked for cooking (we cooked breakfast every morning and a frozen pizza one night). The bed was super comfy and I slept like a rock. I would definitely stay here again!

This would be perfect for a couple or small family that packs light. Unfortunately, we were neither. Our family of four was visiting Yellowstone as part of a longer 2-week trip. We would have been fine if we could have unpacked, but there are no dressers at all simply because there's no room (so it's not their fault). If it was only my wife and me, we could have laid out our stuff on the bunk beds and put our empty suitcases in the loft. But we didn't have that option with our two teenagers occupying those spaces. So we were tripping over one another and our stuff. To make matters worse, the outdoor garbage cans were full so we had to keep trash bags in the kitchen (where they may have leaked). The parking spot was small, so that free upgrade into a ginormous rental SUV may not be a good idea. We also found that the WiFi was slow when it worked intermittently (which turned into a much-needed push for our teenagers to get off their phones ... hahaha). And with temps in the 90s, the A/C simply wasn't enough to cool beyond the kitchen / living areas. So why still give this cabin a good review? Because it's a *great* cabin for a couple! My wife and I would definitely go back. The host was great. The location was priceless: on the river with a view of the mountains. And we could walk anywhere. Need coffee in the morning? It's a minute away! So were great breakfast options, the market, food trucks, and convenience store. And in the shadow of Yellowstone! Just know it's small.
