We enjoyed our stay in the Hummingbird cabin. Everything we needed was furnished and it was a close drive to St. Mary’s and Many Glacier park entrances. After reading other reviews I was worried the location was too remote but we didn’t feel that way at all. Would definitely recommend this cabin.
So close to many Glacier area, stars at night
Great landlord service and responsiveness!!!
Nice place to stay while visiting Glacier
My wife and I stayed here for three nights of our Honeymoon. The cabin was very nice and the beds were comfortable. It was a very peaceful neighborhood with great views of the sunset. Steve was a great host; he checked in on us a couple of times and offered us his canoe. He also left a very helpful trail map and bear spray in the cabin. The cabin was a little difficult to find, but definitely worth the trip!
Cozy cabin, clean and well furnished. Close to Many Glacier and St Mary entrance of GNP. Owner is very helpful and hospitable. Cabin has everything you need for a peaceful, relaxing stay in beautiful Montana country.
Wonder views and quick trip into Glacier National Park. I would tell everyone to call the owner for directions. GPS doesn't put you at the correct location. Call him first.
The cabin is great. It has everything you need. We enjoyed the camp fire as well and wood was provided. The view from the bedroom was very nice. Very quiet area which was refreshing. Just walk up the hill and a great view of the mountains. The owner was very accommodating and made sure we were clear on the directions. We would definitely stay there again.
Great stay all around! To start, upon arrival the cabin was exceptionally clean and well appointed with everything one needs for time away; games for my daughter, great local books, everything needed for cooking. No wifi and very bad cell reception, which was just fine as we knew about it ahead of time, and was just what one would expect in the mountains of Montana. The location is fantastic- really out in countryside on a dirt road over several cattle guards, had to stop for wandering horses several times. Great location as well in terms of the access to Glacier and some very soulful local restaurants. Steve, our guest contact was fantastic- provided us with so many insider recommendations, and was always very responsive. We will definitely be coming back to this cabin and area!
Great location to the east side of Glacier National Park. Steve was a great host and the cabin had everything we needed.
Very relaxing great place to unplug and enjoy mother nature.
The cabin is small but adequate and is supplied with everything you could need including several books on the park, bear spray and binoculars you can borrow. It's located in a remote area on rough dirt roads with free roaming cattle so you have to drive carefully. It's about a half hour drive into the St. Mary's entrance of the park.
Had a great time and the Hummingbird was a great place to come back to after our long days out hiking Glacier and Waterton. Place was clean and well equipped with everything we needed.
The place was great as well as the location. Steve, the owner, was able to give us good advice as well in what to do on the Many Glacier side of the park. I would recommend this cabin to anybody headed to the area.
Owner was so kind and helpful and keeps the tidiest little getaway cabin right next to glacier. Would stay again!
