Cozy, country cabin near Cooperstown

Such a wonderful home for our traveling baseball team all the way from Hilo, Hawaii. Donna was extremely responsive and her home was relaxing and enjoyable for all. The cabin feeling was remarkable!

This property was absolutely amazing! We came to Cooperstown to celebrate my Dads birthday and had an amazing stay!. There was plenty of room for all of us (6 adults, 3 kids and 1 baby). The cabin is so family friendly— plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable and a bonus game room downstairs!. My sons loved playing billiards and my husband enjoyed the front porch and solitude. The cabin is close to Cooperstown to enjoy all the attractions. I only wish we were able to stay longer! Donna was a pleasure to speak with and very accessible in regards to communication. We can’t wait to hopefully come back!

The cabin is spectacular and the amenities are terrific. We had a wonder Thanksgiving and hope to return often! The Host is terrific and highly responsive, they thought of everything. Thank you!

We had a wonderful time staying at the New York House and highly recommend it. So peaceful and lots of family fun and memories made.

This was a great property in countryside but close to amenities. The game room was a big hit as well as the fire pit. Would highly recommend for a family get away!

Three bedrooms (one a loft) with generous great room and other amenities—was enough for our family of three couples. While master bathroom (associated with loft bedroom) is generous, second full bathroom is tiny—no counter space or room for towels despite the fact that it was shared between two bedrooms and public space. (Half bath in basement is a plus.) Also, bath towels had seen better days and there were not enough hand towels to go around (plus no place to hang them). Be aware that you will need to drink bottled water (the hosts provided enough to get us started).

I’ve stayed in a number of vrbo’s and this is the first I have been compelled to write a review because the experience was so positive. Property and cabin was clean and in great condition. Linens and beds were very comfortable. Owner was extremely responsive and location was about 25 minutes from Cooperstown. We saw a ton of wildlife in the area including deer, groundhogs, a fox, chipmunks, and turkeys. Great place to stay!

We had an amazing time. The house is so beautiful. It was nice being able to relax and connect with family and friends.

The cabin is absolutely gorgeous, very clean, and oh so comfortable! It is very spacious and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. The property and surrounding area is so beautiful - the fall colors were just stunning! The location is perfect - only 3 miles from stores, gas stations, etc., but far enough away to feel secluded and enjoy the peace & nature. The owner is very sweet, and communication was a breeze. Our family of 6 had the most wonderful time here. We enjoyed the fire pit, horseshoes, the nearby lake, billiards in the game room, watching football on the big screen tv, visiting Cooperstown, and so much more. Other than a little loss of privacy with the loft King Bed Room, and just Queens rather than King Beds in the two other bedrooms, the floor plan and amenities were excellent. It is set is a very quiet, pretty rural setting. It was a very pleasant, pretty, 20-minute drive to the sites of Cooperstown. I would recommend it. The billiard table in the cellar was of good quality. The living room and kitchen were spacious.
