Welcome to Opie's Cabins. These Cozy Cabins are fully restored 100-year old Rail Road Cabins, located near the Comal River. The Comal River is within walking distance and can been seen from the deck. Texas Tubes is located next door for easy outdoor fun. Each Cabin is uniquely decorated with it's own theme. All 8 cabins are connected with a gorgeous deck, which makes reserving multiple cabins more convenient for larger parties and groups.

Stayed Aug 29, 2025Always a great experience. The cabin has all of the basic necessities and then some. Right by the river, but still quiet. Plenty of deer randomly showing up is a bonus. This is my 5th or 6th time staying here and I plan on coming back.

Stayed May 25, 2024This is my fourth or fifth time to stay at these cabins. It has become a tradition to stay here for Memorial Day each year. The cabin has everything you need and is walking distance from the river. I'm already looking forward to next year.
