Cozy Cabin with Slip Dock on Lake Hartwell

We had a wonderful stay at the Meadmore cottage on Hartwell Lake. The property is beautiful. The cottage is so clean and decorated nicely. We had six adults and my thrèe year old granddaughter. The cottage is safe for children and has three full baths. The owner, Doug is so nice and very accommodating. We could only stay two nights due to prior scheduling. We will definitely return to the same cottage. I recommend leaving a down payment as early as possible. This cottage already has most of the summer booked! I highly recommend this cottage. I found it on VRBO. On a scale of 1-10, I give it 100! Yup 100!!!! Thank you Doug for making our mini vacation fabulous 👌 😎

Very nice cabin and great location on the lake.

This was the trip we needed for a much deserved vacation. The cabin was just perfect for our group! Doug, our host, was amazing and very helpful during our stay. The icing on the cake was the magical lighting bug dance. Can’t wait for another get away at the cabin!

We were greeted with a welcome note that invited us to make ourselves at home. It couldn't have been easier to do so. Beautiful grounds, comfy house, everything we could have asked for. Doug is a great host!

Great rental

The cottage was ADORABLE!! It was very clean and everything was as stated in the description online. I did not clean upon our arrival like I normally do so that says ALOT!! Doug was very informative before our arrival and stayed in contact with me to make sure we made it and there were no issues. Would definitely stay at this cottage again!! Highly recommend!!

We had an Awesome trip there, lake view, the dock, the basement area, bedrooms and kitchen were very nice and clean. Can’t wait to visit again.

The cabin had everything we needed, including fresh linens, plush towels, full kitchen supplies, and even games for entertainment. There was also a pool table, which added a fun touch to our stay.The layout was spacious with ample room to relax, and the décor was lovely and welcoming. We appreciated having Chromecast, cable, and reliable Wi-Fi, which made it easy to unwind in the evenings. The atmosphere was serene and perfect for a quiet getaway.The owner provided helpful information before our trip and was available if we needed anything, which made the experience smooth and stress-free. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and we are already planning another visit.

Wonderful cabin and location with lake access. Our group thoroughly enjoyed morning coffees on the deck overlooking the lake and Doug has kayaks available that we enjoyed.Communication with Doug before and during our stay was great.

It was great! The house was beautiful and so was the area surrounding the house. There was a lot of entertaining things to do whether you want to hang out at the lake, play pool, cards or watch a movie. It was very clean and comfortable. We definitely would like to come back again.

My daughter turned 21 March 16th and was looking for a getaway. So that's exactly what we did. We really appreciated and enjoyed our stay. Everything was perfect and can't wait until next time.

We stayed for the month of February. I am a bass fishing enthusiast. I have fished in many places and really enjoy it. The host Doug was extremely helpful with my boat and trailer and was willing to assist putting the boat in and taking it out. Pool table and fireplace were great.I would highly recommend this property and will be back myself.Phil from NY

This is our second time staying and it was just as great as the first time. We love staying at this house. My husband enjoyed fishing all day while I stayed and read by the fire. It was so relaxing. The hosts are so nice and the best on VRBO.

The property was better than advertised and the owners were very organized and quick to respond! Look forward to renting again in the future.

Me and a buddy fished a kayak bass tourney and stayed here. Wonderful place and very good host. Highly recommend it and will return on my next trip to Lake Hartwell.

We were very pleased with our stay. It was peaceful and quite. We enjoyed being able to sit on the dock and fish, or just to enjoy the beauty of the lake. It was a pleasure to meet Doug and to talk for a while. We hope to return some time in the future.

This house was fantastic to stay at. The dock and other amenities were really fun! The owners were especially helpful with helping us park our boat. I would highly recommend this lake cabin!

Very quiet and peaceful. The abundance of wildlife there was cool to look at. My wife and I enjoyed our weekend getaway.
