Cozy Cabin Vacation Rental on South Long Lake, Brainerd, Mn.

The host was so good with communication. Everything was perfect. Such a quaint 1928 cabin on the lake. Everything you need is provided!

Excellent cabin!

Great cabin that looks exactly as pictured. Neighbors are close and lake is heavily developed, but road was quiet (was also off season when we stayed in early October) The kitchen is very well stocked with dishes/appliances etc and even spices-bring oil for cooking/aluminum foil etc. For those bringing a boat, the water is very shallow where the dock is, about 1.5 feet (may be lower than usual as it has been quite dry for the past few weeks) and the dock is high-more suited for pontoon than a fishing boat which would have gone under the dock if not for tying down and the tire under the dock. The fishing was great, lots of bass and northern. Would stay again.

Perfect place for a couple with pets. The back deck is a wonderful place to just sit and enjoy the lake. The dogs can't get off the deck without opening the gate, so was perfect for them too. Cabin is very homey and comfortable.

Place was Great Lake was great. Neighbors were cool. Easy to find yet close to Brainerd. To be honest, I would like to give a bad rating so nobody would stay there except me. My son loved it as well.I will be back (with boat next time).Thanks Sandra

Sandra was very accommodating and helpful! It was a very nice stay and very clean and comfortable! We loved the deck and patio doors facing the lake! Lots of windows all around! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Very nicely decorated and clean just as expected. Everything was as advertised. Enjoyed the lake and view! Very nice bed linens and cookware. Sandra kept us in the loop and is very cordial. We hope to return next summer. Nicely appointed!

We had an absolutely incredible stay at this cabin! From the moment we booked, the host was amazing—so quick to respond and incredibly helpful with local info and recommendations. The 900 sq ft cabin felt surprisingly spacious for our family of four, with plenty of room to relax and unwind.The location was perfect! The dock was just a short walk down the hill and made it easy to safely tie up our pontoon. We had everything we needed during our stay, and it truly felt like a home away from home.Our kids had the best time—and even made some core memories we’ll never forget. Our 5-year-old caught her very first fish from the dock! Between the lake adventures, the cozy cabin, and the peaceful setting, this was a trip we’ll cherish forever.Highly recommend this little slice of heaven—we’d come back in a heartbeat!

Great stay! The deck was a perfect spot to enjoy, morning and evening. We heard the loons at night, and having the bedroom facing the lake was wonderful. Our dog Pippa had several walks and sniffs along the wooded road.

My daughters and I loved this place and agreed to stay here whenever we returned to Brainerd for family reunions.What made it great?• Very cozy• Beautiful setting •Well stocked with towels, sheets & dishes/ cookware•Air conditioner was very appreciated • Loved the deck with table/chairs• Great location• Enjoyed the walks from the cabinWe do wish there were some folding chairs we could move to the dock area.

Definitely a COZY CAIN. Very clean and welcoming. Full kitchen, great beds and linens. Tv's, free WIFI, quiet neighbors. Didn't use outdoor fire pit because too busy fishing but it was inviting. Lots of good lakes around this lake as well if there for fishing. Owner very accommodating.

Very clean cabin with vintage feel and modern amenities. Breathtaking views of the lake. Firepit to enjoy the sunsets. Quiet neighbors. Only 20 minutes from bike trails in Riverton making this a great place to relax after a day of mountain biking. Will definitely be back!

The Anderson cabin was everything we were hoping it to be; rustic north-woods atmosphere with modern amenities. It was very clean and comfortable with a quiet neighborhood feel.The sunsets are amazing from the back deck! Be prepared for a little driving to local attractions and restaurants if that is what you are looking for. Appreciated that pets are welcome here. Sandra is an amazing host. We hope to make it back to this gem!

The only downside about this cabin is that the lake was too weedy to swim in off the dock or shore. The cabin itself is so cozy and we loved its charm! Would have been better if we had a boat!
