Cozy cabin on 10 acre farm with horses, chickens, cats, dog & gardens

By far the highlight of our trip to the USA was a great location close to the springs. Viktoria was a wonderful host, happy to share her amazing home with us. The cabin is certainly cosy, but it brought our family closer than ever. From the minute you come through the gates, it's pure American dream. We absolutely loved our stay, and the breakfast is a definite must. Our children were in love with the horse, the cats, the chickens and everything in between. This was one of the all time best stays I’ve ever had. Victoria the host was so warm and friendly, excellent communicator and the home was well stocked with everything we possible needed. There was coffee, milk, a refrigerator, microwave, plates, mugs, silverware and everything we needed. We had the best homemade breakfast our first morning, fresh from the farm. I highly recommend this place for your next stay in the area. Thank you Victoria for hosting us!

Beautiful property and great host!

Our stay at Boss Ranch was top notch. Warmly pleasant accommodations, delightful farm to table breakfast, and a dip in the nearby rainbow springs made it extra memorable. Viktoria was very accommodating during our stay. She cooked us an amazing breakfast from scratch that made it hard to pick a favorite dish. She also recommended the rainbow springs and had already prepared snorkeling masks, noodles, and towels in the enclosed porch for us. During our dip in the limpid spring water, we admired a family of turtles swimming underwater. The farm is picturesque. We were welcomed by the sweetest dog Rodeo upon arriving through the gate. The hosts are a charming couple who’ve perfected the art of a bed and breakfast. With accommodations that are the definition of cottagecore and comfort, we are already yearning to come back. The last night of our visit was particularly special because I proposed to my fiancé under the stars at the ranch, next to the bonfire. The charm and comfort of the cottage made it feel like the perfect setting for our engagement. We highly recommend staying here if you’re in search of a little slice of serenity.

Beautiful,peaceful country setting. Cabin had all conveniences,was very clean,cute and comfortable. Hosts went above and beyond when we had questions or concerns. We felt almost like the place was our own as the hosts made themselves scarce but open to communication. Very pleasant, restful atmosphere but just minutes from town.

Wonderful, stay! Nice, quiet, clean, the little cabin had everything we needed My daughter and I had a great little getaway… Host was very nice, attentive, and very informative. 10/10 would love to stay again.

Very nice location close to restaurants and Rainbow Springs.We got the homemade breakfast and it was was filling and healthy,I can highly recommend the property and we are looking forward to coming back. 10 out of 10.

Loved it! Very clean, cozy and peaceful! Decorated beautifully. Loved being able to see the horses and chickens/rooster! Definitely recommend!

Overall a good stay, just a couple of things were a bit off. The pillow shams didn’t smell like they were clean, but we just took them off th bed and it wasn’t a big deal (I never trust those anyway). Also the floor in the shower could use a deep clean. Both of those things are typical with staying in places like Vrbos in my experience. Other than those minor things, it was a beautiful property, horses were running around, stars at night are everywhere and it was really cool. The property owners are nice people, and were very chill. The house is like a guest house separated from the main house by a long walkway. The cats were very friendly too. We’d 100% stay there again, it was an overall 4/5 for us! Great proximity to Rainbow River/Springs, and very quiet day & night.

This cabin was perfect for our two-night stay. Very clean and so nicely decorated. Very private and we felt extremely safe with a secure gate upon entry. Within about 25 minutes from area attractions, especially seeing all of the manatees at Three Sisters Springs. Would definitely stay again.

On our long road trip home from Miami, we decided to break up the drive with a couple of nights near Crystal River so we could swim with the manatees. Wanting both atmosphere and convenience, we reserved this sweet little home in Citrus Springs, and it exceeded our expectations.The cabin is completely charming, with thoughtful attention to detail throughout. It is beautifully decorated and genuinely welcoming in a way we rarely experience in rental homes. Small touches like sunscreen, soothing sun-after-care lotion, tiny jars of candy, and a little electric fireplace that kept us warm when temperatures dipped into the 30s made us feel especially cared for. We also loved meeting the animals on the property, who made our stay feel even more unique and memorable. Viktoria was responsive and easy to communicate with via VRBO, and we appreciated her travel recommendations: Rainbow Springs was magical, and Seafood Sellers was worth the surprisingly long wait at 2:00 on a Tuesday afternoon.The icing on the cake was the breakfast we ordered on our departure day. It was both beautiful and delicious: poached eggs, sausage and toast, flaky apple strudel, French toast, frittata, avocado on grilled sweet potato slices, and fresh mint water. It was the perfect send-off.We absolutely recommend this tiny home and would gladly return. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Amazing stay! Viktoria, the hostess made an honest booking mistake but immediately reached out and provided several generous options to make it right! We took her up on one and absolutely loved our stay. The cabin and property is exactly as pictured. So cute! Take her up on her breakfast. It was delicious, varied and homemade daily. She delivered it to the cabin and even provided us a bowl of carrots to feed the beautiful horses. The cabin was an easy drive to Crystal River, Homosassa Wildlife Park and Rainbow Springs. We visited them all and loved everyone! Gated property made us feel safe. We enjoyed speaking with her and getting to know her some while there. We would definitely stay here again!!!!

Cabin was cozy, clean and comfortable! Was well stocked with necessary supplies. The food was delicious and well worth the extra charge! Host was very nice and prompt in communication. We enjoyed our stay, would recommend and would return.

The cabin was even better than advertised. Every detail added to the ambiance and romance of the tiny house. The landlord was close by to answer questions, but not intrusive. The breakfast was delicious and quite a bargain. We enjoyed the screened in porch and seeing the chickens and horses. Very relaxing atmosphere.

Clean well spaced cabin. Love the screened in porch and breakfast in the morning. Hosts were hospitable and friendly. Kayaks had wheel caddies and straps available as needed. Property is close to town, Rainbow River, and Swampy's. Lots of garage sales on Saturday. Definitely a repeat :)

Beautiful farm stay!

We had a wonderful time at the Boss Farm. Viktoria was very helpful and quick to answer when I text her. Besides a wonderful cozy cabin and peaceful serene surroundings the home made breakfast was absolutely marvelous. Big you stay you have to get the breakfast at least one morning. We brought our boat and kayaks. And spent the weekend on the water Rainbow River, Withlacoochee and Crystal River. Thanks again for a wonderful weekend

I had forgotten how beautiful this part of Florida is. The cabin is small but welcoming, tastefully decorated, and equipped with everything to meet my needs and keep me comfortable. Viktoria is an amazing hostess and responded quickly to any questions or concerns. She makes a great breakfast, too. It is soothingly peaceful and quiet on the ranch. I’ll always remember watching the sunrise from the back screen porch. I wondered how I could feel so relaxed until I realized I didn’t hear anything. No traffic, no airplanes or emergency transport copters, no sirens, no neighbors, no kids or school buses. Nothing but a breeze ruffling the leaves or an occasional nicker from one of the horses.I came to rest and reset, and I left feeling ready to take on my hectic life again. I hope to return the next time I need a recharge.

Convenient to springs, host Victoria was easy to communicate with and she was very helpful with tips, offering kayaks and also providing splendid breakfast. Very cozy place. We also loved seeing the horses and chickens.

Our two night stay was quite delightful. The owners are superb! They were gracious and attentive. Beautifully kept property adorned with horses, gorgeous cats, hens and rooster, and a playful dog who likes to play ball.The cabin was spotless. We enjoyed the pool, and having a divine breakfast under the pergola. Quiet, scenic and great energy.

We had a great time staying in this quaint little cabin. Such a peaceful and beautiful location; you really feel like you’re miles away from everything, yet it was conveniently located to the springs, waterfalls, and hiking trails. The hosts were fantastic and did a great job making us and our grand baby feel welcome. The cabin is equipped with everything you need and the farm fresh breakfast was delicious!!

If you're looking for a true local experience, this is it! Staying on-site with hosts Tony and Viktoria was a highlight—always available but never intrusive. They're incredibly resourceful and know all the hidden gems in the area. Thanks to Viktoria’s recommendation, we discovered Rainbow Springs—and even went back a second day because we loved it so much!The cabin itself is quaint and charming, set on a beautiful farm with friendly animals that added to the magic. If you're a farm-to-table enthusiast, do *not* skip Viktoria’s breakfast. It was hands down one of the best meals we’ve ever had—our family will be talking about it for years!This was more than a place to stay—it was an experience. We’re so glad we found it!

The cabin was absolutely perfect — beautifully decorated, cozy, and so comfortable. Every detail made us feel right at home. We even got to use their lovely pool, which was such a treat. Accommodation was fabulous, super tidy and clean with an excellent breakfast every morning! Hosts were friendly and helpful with directions and advice for cool spots and places to eat at. They let us use their kayaks and paddle board which was super convenient and awesome for exploring the springs! The screened in pool was great for hot afternoons. Animals on site including horses, chickens, cats, and rodeo the dog were the cutest and so so so sweet. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a cozy stay!!! 100/10

All the animals greet you. The place is so beautiful. The breakfast was gorgeous. The chickens let you hold them. The horses are sweet and let you pet them! The host are pleasan. Just an amazing stay.

Our family had a very pleasant stay in this cozy cabin, the property owners were very welcoming, they lighted up the firepit - we made smores; the pool was very nice and we were able to pet the horses, saw chickens; I can't say enough how delicious the breakfast was, amazing!!! Highly recommended.

while we spent most of the time by the springs in the area, the property is so relaxing and beautiful. by far the start of the show was the hosts cooking. i'd go back just for the food. waking up to a home made breakfast really transforms your day and the host did a wonderful job at making us feel special. access to all the amenities was great, from the kayaks to the goggles and to the peace and quiet of the area. i have nothing remotely bad to say about this stay. would love to come back with my daughter next time.

This place is absolutely amazing. The people who own the property are so kind! I loved every minute of being there. The dog, cats, chickens, and horses are so friendly. The river is by far the prettiest river in Florida. And the breakfast that is given taste wonderful!

I had a wonderful time here. The space has a lot of personality and the farm is beautiful. Breakfast was wonderful and delicious with plenty of food. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a perfect get away.

We had such a nice stay. The cabin was really cute and sitting outside on the lanai eating the most delicious homemade farm to table breakfast every morning was such an incredible treat! Their garden is amazing with everything they grow. And I especially loved starting each morning looking at the horses and the chickens while drinking coffee. Viktoria and her family were very hospitable and offered recommendations on kayaking locations since we were there on a busy weekend and Rainbow State Park closed early in the morning due to being at full capacity. It's a beautiful area and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Very pleasant stay in a one room cabin with a loft off of main house that was wonderfully decorated. Hosts are a lovely couple that served a delightful breakfast using their farm's eggs. There are many interesting things to do locally. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay.

I had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage with my two kids. The property is absolutely beautiful, with a large area with animals and a lovely garden. One of the highlights was the delicious homemade breakfasts prepared by the host, made with fresh ingredients from her own garden and eggs from her chickens.The location is perfect—just a short drive to Rainbow Springs. We also loved that the stay included access to kayaks and paddleboards, making it easy to enjoy the nearby water. It was a truly peaceful and memorable experience, and we would love to come back!

This adorable little cabin on Viktoria and her husband's farm was truly so peaceful and beautiful! Viktoria walked us over the MOST delicious breakfast every morning and made sure to ask us about, and be mindful of, our dietary needs and preferences. She also made sure to offer us snorkel gear, kayaks, and other needed gear that we could use at the near-by state park, Rainbow Springs, which she also made sure to tell us all about! We were offered carrots and apples to feed the horses when we arrived, got to enjoy the entertainment (and eggs!) of their chickens, and we were pleasantly greeted by their sweet cats and their dog, Rodeo! The cabin was clean and fully stocked with everything and anything we could have needed, from shower necessities to silverware and everything in between! We had privacy but also knew who to go to for anything we needed, the communication and check in was amazing, and this was overall one of the most wonderful VRBO stays we have ever had! Truly so grateful to them both for opening up their beautiful land and home to those of us who are excited to explore it!

Phenomenal stay! Cabin is even cuter in person, well decorated and stocked with essentials. Viktoria is an excellent cook and could open her own cafe. Breakfast was exquisite! Delicious, fresh, flavorful, and abundant. Every day was a surprise with new dishes to try. The location is great, a quiet farm close to local attractions. Hosts were super accommodating with sharing information on things to do and helping our trip to be a great one. Let us borrow their bikes to bike to a nearby trail. I highly recommend staying here!

We stayed for two nights and enjoyed the remote location and seclusion it gave us. Viktoria provided us with a 5 star breakfast our first morning. My wife and I enjoyed the peace and quiet sitting on the comfortable large roomy screen porch. The location is a short drive from Rainbow Springs State Park and we enjoyed hiking around the park. Viktoria also offered to let us use the kayaks they have to enjoy the Rainbow River. We brought our own but good info for anyone planning to stay there. We felt very safe and comfortable during the stay and would absolutely come again if in the area.

Our stay was just what the doctor ordered. It was quiet and relaxing. We had everything we needed. Great hosts on the property but communicated by text. We didn’t have the breakfast that was included but I am sure it would have been great. We found a couple restaurants in the area and had great fresh fish. Great stay.
