Steve was a very helpful and friendly host! The cabin was just as described, and it had everything we needed. The wi-fi was amazing, which is no small feat in the Glacier area! It's a bit remote, but we enjoyed it that way!

Stayed four nights in the Hummingbird cabin. Not difficult to find if you follow the direction given by the host. The cabin is perfect for a family of 4. It is a 15 min drive to St Mary and Many Glacier entrances. The property is quiet and private. The cabin includes a well-equipped kitchen with seasonings and cooking supplies. Beds are comfortable with plenty of pillows and extra blankets and towels. Gas BBQ is available at the back with picnic table, fire pit…Steve, our host was really helpful too and made valuable recommendation for the hikes. Loaner bear spray to use around the cabin or when hiking.

This home was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed plus more (they even had bear spray and glacier books/maps)! It’s about 20-25 minutes from the Many Glacier entrance. The property owner has a cabin across the street which he stays at sometimes. He was super helpful with knowledge about the Glacier hiking trails. The closest grocery store was in the St. Mary area, about 20 minutes away.

Our stay at cozy duck (Hummingbird) was amazing. The cabin is cozy, but functional, comfortable, and incredibly peaceful. For our family of 3, it was perfect. For larger families, you'll be thankful there's so much outdoor space. Steve, our host, stopped by for a couple of days (his cabin is across the road), and we couldn't have asked for a nicer person. He was friendly, kind, and our son really took a liking to him. He actually got our son bear poop, which our son initially got disappointed wasn't actually bear poop (it was chocolate-covered peanuts), lol. Steve also took our son on a tour of the property, which included an outlook up in a tree. If we had any gripes, it was that the photos are of both cabins (Badger and Hummingbird), so we were initially confused when we didn't get what we thought we were getting. Also, the WiFi is shared from Steve's cabin which is really only reliably usable from the road. However, Steve was more than accommodating, and let us hang out in his front yard so we could download movies for the flight home. However, this ended up being a blessing because it allowed us to disconnect and be a family. Overall, it was an amazing stay and we'd love to come back.

My wife and I stayed here for three nights of our Honeymoon. The cabin was very nice and the beds were comfortable. It was a very peaceful neighborhood with great views of the sunset. Steve was a great host; he checked in on us a couple of times and offered us his canoe. He also left a very helpful trail map and bear spray in the cabin. The cabin was a little difficult to find, but definitely worth the trip!
