Really nice cozy cabin getaway
Cute cozy cabin. Great experience and location. Would highly recommend.
We took our two boys here for a couple nights to disconnect from screens and enjoy time together as a family during their winter break. Our boys, ages 6 and 9, loved the loft and also enjoyed playing monopoly. There were lots of games and movies there that kept us entertained since the weather was cold and rainy.
We enjoyed our short stay here. We were in the area for a wedding, so sadly we didn't get to spend as much time at the cabin as we would have liked. It would be an excellent place to disconnect for a bit and just enjoy the peace and quiet of the setting.
Second time my wife and I stayed here, perfect little cabin in the woods, won’t be our last!!!
Had a relaxing stay. Loved the fire pit. Needs Wi-Fi other than that enjoyed the stay.
I do not regret a penny spent. The wonderful homeowner answered all of my questions I had before arriving quickly and kindly and the cabin itself was clean, cozy and full of every necessity. The beds were unbelievably comfortable, the fire was so relaxing and the lights in both the front and back of the cabin were beautiful at night. But the best light of all was my 3 boys faces the entire stay. They weren’t even thinking about not having internet, they were consumed by the experience. Close by there was local ice cream, yummy Italian food at Mama G’s, a fantastic and inclusive park and of course the beautiful lake which about 3 minutes away we found the Rabun Beach Recreation Area where the kids swam for hours for only $5! I wish we had more than 2 days in this beautiful cabin, it really felt like home. We all rated this stay 5 STARS! *If you have children, bring movies along with you (we rented from Redbox) *I was worried about no service on my phone due to emergencies, but I was able to get signal in some places in the cabin as well as on the porch and at the fire. (Phone carrier: AT&T) *Parents of special need children: It is quiet and calming here. Hardly any traffic. Terrain is a little rough and must access cabin using stairs. (My son needs hand held assistance while walking on unstable surfaces and he did great.) There is a beautiful upstairs which has no gates and is pretty open. Rabun County Recreational Park has an adaptive swing and a music wall!
The cabin was clean and it was well organized. We loved it so much and we might stay again in the future. The hosts were responsive and helpful each time reached out to them. The place very secluded up in the mountains, but the experience is totally worth it.
We enjoyed our stay at this quaint cabin in Lake Rabun. The host was super accommodating and easy to contact. I wish we had more time to enjoy all of the outside amenities like the fire pit but this was the perfect little space for our weekend getaway.
Beautiful cabin with all the amenities needed for relaxing and quiet retreat. No wifi or TV service but lots of DVD movies to choose from. Books and games also. Rain on the metal roof was wonderful one of our days! Very clean and comfortable ! Thank you Sherry!
Very nice and quiet. Just the right size for two. Will be staying again. Just wish there was a ceiling fan in bedroom.
This property was absolutely amazing! It was small and cozy and very private. The cabin was clean, well supplied and very well maintain. We were only there for a few days, but we will definitely be staying again. An absolutely amazing little cabin in the most beautiful area!! Absolutely love this property!
The place is pretty secluded, but it’s totally worth it. If you like the mountains and the outdoors, you will love this place. Will definitely love to go back again.
We loved this tiny cabin in the woods as a home base for our adventures exploring the north GA mountains. The cabin had everything we could possibly need, and communication with the hosts was excellent!
Exactly the quiet remote getaway my wife and I were looking for, perfect cabin!
My boyfriend and I had booked to camp at the park, but when we heard the temperatures were dropping during our trip we booked last minute with this cabin. Despite it being so cold the pipes froze this cabin and the hosts were so great it saved our trip! I would love to go back and enjoy the fire pit! Worth every dime we paid!! Had a lovely Christmas Eve making cookies and watching movies!! Just loved it!
Clean Peaceful
Was a cute little cabin perfect for a couples get away. Just loved it. Clean, accommodating, and a true getaway— we had no phone service!?
This place is a gem! Don’t think twice about booking. It’s much larger than I felt the pictures made it seem and decorated perfectly! The location is so close to the lake and there is lots to do and see! The host left information for us on things to do and what not to miss. So kind! We would love to come back!
