Located on beautiful Brashears Creek in the heart of Bourbon Country, this loft style cedar cabin makes a great central location to visit some local distilleries and wineries. It is also a great place to stay for anyone who might be in the area for a horse show or interested in antique shopping along Shelbyville's historical Main Street. My personal favorite thing to do at the cabin is enjoy the creek. We love to canoe, kayak or even just float on a raft depending on the conditions.

This is a cozy, rustic cabin in the countryside. The property is accessed by a gravel road and includes simple, durable features like sealed concrete floors-all part of the relaxed, country cabin experience.

My husband and I had a fantastic weekend getaway here. The kitchen was well stocked, the cabin was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the wood burning stove made it so cozy. We loved relaxing in the hot tub and walking along the creek. We’re looking forward to coming back at different times of the year to enjoy the cabin and the farm again!

Beautiful cabin centrally located on the Burbon Trail. Enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Winding roads were a little challenging, but worth it.

The property was really cozy, warm, and inviting. Hosts were extremely timely in response to concerns. We did not use the hot. But did take a walk to the water. Only issues we had were 1-2 birds flying in to the heater and making an incorrect vehicle choce for the drive there ( gravel roads for the last little bit to the cabin)

Peaceful property centrally located between Louisville and Lexington. Cabin felt like home with all the amenities. Beds were a tad small as a previous review stated but that did not affect our stay. Water pressure for shower dipped if using water elsewhere at the same time but that is to be expected with a well. Also, did not affect our stay. The hot tub was an added bonus and centrally located for serene views. Highly recommend!!

Our stay was great from beginning to end. The cabin had all the amenities you could need and then some. The owners have thought of pretty much everything. Any questions we had were quickly answered by the owners as well. The bed was soft and comfortable. We didn't use the kitchen much, but it was nice having a full one available. We enjoyed the quiet of the area immensely. My husband and I had a wonderful stay while checking out the bourbon trail. If we're ever back this way, we'll be staying here again! Side note - if you have Verizon, be aware that service is pretty spotty.

My dad and I had a great stay at the cabin. We were in town for the PGA Championship at Valhalla and the cabin was a great place to unwind after a long day in the course. Lots of great golf courses around the area to play as well! Thank you for such a wonderful stay! We felt very safe and comfortable at the cabin!
