Cowee Valley Rustic Cabin Getaway

Cabin was very clean, owner is very responsive. Driveway is a little steep for a regular car but we made it up just fine. Use the written instructions because you will be lead the wrong way up to the cabin using gps. We did have an issue with the AC in the bedroom but I’m sure the owners will take care of it. The screen porch was wonderful along with the outdoor swing right outside the cabin. I’d recommend bringing extra toilet paper as we couldn’t find extra rolls. Kitchen was well equipped. We would recommend this cabin if you’re looking to be within 15 minutes of Franklin and they have such great little restaurants nearby!

Great cabin!! We enjoyed our stay!! It was very clean and fully equipped with everything we needed! The outdoor gazebo swing was an extra special bonus!

This is a cozy cabin nestled in a wooded area halfway up the mountain. The views are beautiful from the covered, screened in porch. The beds are comfy. Everything you could possibly need was available for our stay. There was even wood stacked in the outsoor firepit. The cabin was clean except for dog hair on the rug in the living area, but this is a pet friendly cabin. Overall, beautiful cabin in a beautiful area. Definitely a place we will stay again. The owners responded to emails very quickly and was available if we had any questions. Absolutely wonderful people to work with!!

We were very happy the cabin. It was decorated so nicely, with bear and deer. We had several trails to walk with our dog. We had privacy that we loved. We would love to come back someday.

It was very beautiful and the host were awesome. I didn't really care for the driveway much. It was very scary and very narrow. It is not good for small cars. It can be very slippery.

Absolute heaven in the mountains & the cabin was amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed the peacefulness on the porch & cooking on the grill every night. A beautiful mountain escape, an awesome experience!

This was a perfect getaway to calm my busy life. The cabin was very nice, and everything was clean and tidy. I loved the area. We saw several waterfalls and went to the gem mine.The host, Jeff Warshaw, was very kind and provided all the information I needed to have a great stay. I sure hope I get a chance to go back. There is so much more I want to see, and the peacefulness of this cabin is a great place to restore my sanity from the hustle and stress of life.

This beautiful and immaculate cabin is placed in a quiet, secluded area in the mountains. It’s perfect for a family getaway to explore nature trails and gem mining. We absolutely recommend this cabin and hope to return one day soon!

The sun sets and and sun raises were a slice off of a magical tale. The nights under the cool breeze on the cabin porch made for a wonderful vacation and much needed one. 10 out of a 10 I would recommend.

Our stay at Jeff and Eva’s cabin was everything we needed and more. The cabin was clean, stocked with everything we needed, and provided us with the privacy and seclusion that we otherwise couldn’t get in FL. We spent every morning on the outside lookout gazebo and rocking in the chairs on the porch. We hope to come back next fall to escape the Florida heat and enjoy the mountain life. Thank you once again!

When I booked this trip at this cabin I didn’t realize it was so far away from resturants, businesses,and people.that’s my fault. Both my husband and I are in bad health. In fact I got very ill while on vacation. Was looking forward to watching movies together on TV. Big beautiful tv but WiFi was spotty. And that’s putting it mildly. We finally cut the tv off and just read and rested.

We started visiting Franklin NC when my 8 year old daughter told me all she wanted for Christmas was a rock collection. She is currently 23 and i cherish the memories made with my family in these mountains. This property is now part of my heart.
