Caught 75 bass in 2 days.The geese landing on the lake is amazing.Very peaceful and refreshing.

Garrett is a great host. Me and my band Bruiser Force were playing music in Hugo so we chose to stay at the Indian Cabin. Awesome property for a weekend on the road. Comfy accommodations and beautiful scenery around the property.

It has everything you need for a great time! They had firewood, boats for the water, tv, cooking supplies! You name it! I’m definitely coming back

It was our 50th anniversary trip. Beautiful setting. Geese on the lake. We brought our boat and caught 72 bass between 1.5 and 2.5 lbs..Unforgettable vacation!!!

Great place for a relaxing getaway. Just the right touch of rustic mixed with modern amenities. We stayed in July and the ac was ice cold. Sitting porch w/ swing, outdoor shower, paddle boats, aluminum fishing boat, kayak, grill and fire pit! After a day of fishing, we enjoyed a game of cornhole then sat around the fire pit relaxing listening to the frogs, crickets and coyotes off in the distance. We downloaded an app on our phones called star guide and had fun locating the constellations and milky way. Garrett, the host is on the property if you need him but allows you all of space and freedom that you need. We are already planning to go back in the fall. BONUS … we sat outside until about 1:00 and did not see one mosquito!

Quiet place to stay

This was an excellent find, pet friendly and off the beaten path which we loved.

Before our stay we reached out with some questions about having a fire and being able to fish. The host was so helpful. We brought our gear and fished all evening till sunset and even again while the sun was rising! All of the linen smelled clean and fresh. The cabin is definitely rustic and there's spider webs and dust from the road but that just adds to the ambience. It was so peaceful and quiet. The only thing you heard was nature! We really enjoyed our stay

We stayed 3 nights in the Cowboy Cabin, it was absolutely fantastic! The perfect country getaway! The private lake was so much fun; Garrett has paddle boats, a kayak, and a little aluminum boat with a trolling motor for guests to use. The cabin has pretty much everything you'd need for your stay. There's a cute outside shower on the porch to rinse off from playing in the water and sand. Lots of wildlife on the property to see. We will definitely be returning!!

We love the Cowboy Cabin. This is our 2nd time staying and both times were memorable. It has become our new tradition. Garrett the host is incredible and super helpful. We will definitely be back next year!!! Thanks Garrett for helping us make memories!

Quite and Cosy

So beautiful and quiet, love the pathway around the ponds.

This is our second stay at this property and we just love it. We bring our dogs and just sit back and relax for a few days and forget about the rest of the world. It has all you need to do just that!

Another nice visit

We booked just 2 nights at Garrett’s Cowboy Cabin and wish we’d stayed longer! Easy check-in and departure process. Lots of privacy. Great lake for fishing, though it was very cool in December. I caught a bass right away in the short time we spent enjoying the lake. We’re talking to our kids about booking together for some family fun time in the future!

We needed this so very much, we lost our only child to cancer in Oct 2024 at age 43 after her 4 long years of battle. Really felt healing while we were there by the pond and the quiet. Thank you!

This is our 5th or 6th stay here. As always, very relaxing and enjoyable
