What a quaint, clean cabin and beautiful property. It was a pleasure to stay here on our honeymoon. I highly recommend this cabin property for a stay up in Northern Michigan!

This is our favorite Up North place to be. All the conveniences we like wrapped up in a quaint, rustic package we never get tired of (4th stay—so far). The view of Moran Bay and Straits shipping is awesome, it’s quiet and serene, and close to everything we love about northern Michigan. Can’t wait to get back here!

Third stay here, and could not love it more! We’ve stayed in Michigan A LOT over the years and told Maryjo the first time we stayed here that this is the place we were always looking for. Not just an authentic cabin in the woods, but with updates that make it so much more “stayable,” (WiFi, washer/dryer), while keeping its 40s charm. It’s private, quiet, at a beautiful spot on the bay, with just the right proximity to conveniences—not too close, not too far. Maryjo is always quick to respond to any questions.

Cabin was decorated nicely, All appliances worked great. The lake actually is very shallow, you can walk a few hundred yards before you get waste deep. Fires on the lake at night were pleasant (bring high rated bug spray), thanks for the supplied wood. The best view is looking out of the living room window at the lake. Light switches and outlets are hard to find, they blend in with the walls. There is no A/C, but the weather was cool enough to open all the windows (beware if you have allergies) The property is only a few miles out of town, but the Highway Noise ruins the tranquil surroundings. The Wi-Fi works well, but streaming if needed is an issue. There are neighbors on both sides, but were not a problem. We enjoyed our stay, but unfortunately would not stay again, because of the highway noise. Don't get me wrong, if it was my place, I would deal with it. The U.P. was Fantastic.

We enjoyed our stay at this sweet, charming cabin. There were many thoughtful details thoughout. The property and beach area were private. After a day visiting area attractions, we especially enjoyed evening campfires.

The property was great. It was a good cabin experience.

This cabin was tidy, well-stocked, warm and cozy. Our family of 5 just barely fit, with our two teen/tween boys sharing a queen bed - but we want to book it again next summer! Our daughter adored the bed nook off the living room and all 3 kids piled in there to play a few video games while waiting for breakfast. It’s near groceries, the ferry, the bridge, and whatever else you need. All the kitchen appliances work great and were adequate to cook several meals during our stay. Plenty of hot water for showers too.

My wife and I LOVED this cabin! Host was response, cabin was clean and VERY comfortable! The location was fairly private, very quiet, and right on the lake. The swing was great for catching sunsets and the firepit area (though we didn't have fires) was great for stargazing! Thanks so much for the hospitality!

Lovely home base for mother-daughter long weekend in Mackinac Island area. Owners very responsive and organized. Would stay again.

This was a perfect spot for our mother/ daughter trip! We loved everything about it and it's location was perfect for catching the ferry to the Island. We enjoyed the sunset at the firepit and swinging on the swing. Such a cute place!!

Cabin is perfectly decorated, and everything we needed was in the home. The view of the lake is wonderful, and there was plenty of outdoor space for the kids. Its close to everything but far enough away to have your own little spot. I could go on but it was a perfect stay for my family. Thank younfor the wonderful experience.

Cabin is close to many U.P. attractions yet you can enjoy quiet time right on Lake Michigan in a classic, up north cabin. Cozy and most everything you need. Looking to return!
