Beautiful scenery and peaceful...wish TV sizes were bigger. Our Jet tub wasn't working...Owner did communicate with us about this incident...but overall we had a peaceful weekend. Nice property!!

We had a fantastic Thanksgiving stay at this beautiful cabin overlooking the creek. Everything was just as pictured and better!

This was our second time to this place. We picked it again because it was exactly what we wanted. Away from all things busy. Rick is a great host. We didn't have any needs but he was attentive to things as we came in and left. This is a great place to get away and just have a peaceful relaxing weekend. It is a quiet cabin in the woods above a stream, the stream gives a great background sound of peace for sure. The time away from all distractions is the bonus. We will be back.

Everything was just as stated . Beautiful cabin, wonderful rushing creek. We live on main st @ home. Traffic ,sirens, …. Horrible May have to move to Fancy Gap !

Absolutely beautiful Place! Quiet, secluded area other than the cabin beside us. hard to tell how close they are in the online pictures but, it was no problem at all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I'm an avid player so, the pool table was a little disappointing but, not a big deal! We ended up throwing darts and playing some table tennis instead.

Nice cabin. Very clean. Gravel road is treacherous especially when wet. Sharp incline. Steps leading to the creek are uneven and a tripping hazard.

Had a great weekend with friends in adjacent cabin. Definitely a wonderful place to relax, unplug and unwind. Already planning our return visit!

This cabin was the perfect get away!

Honestly never been a place I stayed to where it was this accommodating and clean. Soon as I walked in a nice fragrance caught my senses and I began to smile. Even though it was dead of winter made me feel like it was spring. Furniture very up to date. 2 robes hanging by the hot tub. Didn't even bother us there wasn't any wi-fi. We enjoyed the DVD's that were there. Other times sitting out on the large porch taking in the fresh air. Several different games to enjoy downstairs. Loved the inner kid coming out of us all.. A nice still down to the swing listening to the waterfalls and the mini river. I could go on and on but don't want to take all of the fun out of it for you all. I can't wait until my next adventure there. You should definitely give it a try and be sure to tell Rick (Tiffany) sent you :).

It was very cozy and relaxing getaway. Only few complaints, the game room games are all old and pretty worn down. The pool table is bowed and legs aren’t very sturdy so table wobbled, ping pong is just in pieces you set on top of the pool table, those boards are bowed as well; and almost all the darts are broken for the dart board. After letting the jets run on the tub there was debris and a weird film in the tub from them, so we didn’t get to enjoy that part of the stay. But overall it is a very nice cabin in a very relaxing area and my boyfriend and I still enjoyed it. Thank you.

Exactly what we needed! A spire of the moment trip that will now become a tradition! The cabin was super clean and had everything we needed. If I had to choose something to improve on it would be to have more bath towels.

The Bear Cabin was everything we expected and more. Access to the cabin could not have been easier and once inside, it was spotless and very well equipped for our visit. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the porch, listening to the creek below and along with sounds of birds during the day and crickets at night. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone who wants to get away unplug and unwind.

Love this place little hard to turn around in driveway. Well worth it we'd come again.

This was our 2nd stay at this cabin. It is perfect for a peaceful getaway. Location is great - near fancy gap with it's local shops and it's not far from Hillsville. Cabin is clean and stocked with what you need.

We were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived at our cabin. We loved the setting, the rushing creek down below, the whole “back to nature” feeling. The cabin was very quaint and creatively decorated to complete the theme. We had all the necessary items for a comfortable stay. We loved the downstairs game room! It was a plus since it rained most the the time we were there (2 days)..thanks for a great experience!! OKI Dave

This was such a beautiful place. It was perfect for our disconnecting from the world weekend. It did rain quite a bit but that made it even more relaxing. We sat on the front porch and read books listening to the rain and rushing creek. We loved sitting on the swing above the creek too. The place was cozy and comfortable. Perfect for a couple. There were also guest in the other cabin. But we didn't even hear them drive up. So it was totally like we were the only ones there. We will be back.
