Comfortable 3 Bedroom, 2 Bath Cabin Between Lutsen Mountains and Lake Superior

The location was excellent. Close to town, skiing, winery. Cozy and clean. Garage was a nice bonus. The dishwasher was so loud we could not have a conversation or sleep. The TV had limited access so we hooked up our computer to TV. The fireplace was broken and after discussing with this owners, was fixed at the very last minute. The cleaning fees and check out required tasks were ridiculously high for this property.

Loved this spot. Handy and very comfortable. Would like to come back. Kitchen had everything we needed, maybe a dish towel would be good. A couple of things, bathroom and one bedroom could use more cleaning. Overall--thanks for a special place to spend a few days. We enjoyed it! Loved the porch and deck!

The host was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was tremendously helpful and a wonderful communicator. The home was beautifully decorated, less than five minutes to Lutsen Mountain, and perfect for our family of five. We loved our stay and would love to come back again. Highly recommended!!!! It’s a beautiful cabin, very clean and well kept, well stocked and very cozy! It was the perfect location for our Lutsen ski vacation as it was only a few minutes away. Also close to a great winery. We had everything we needed to make wonderful meals and relax by the fire in the evening! Highly recommend!

The Cabin was great! It had everything we needed to accommodate a family of seven! It was perfect.

The cabin had a well stocked kitchen and a warm fireplace. Plenty of supplies in the bathrooms and our truck fit in the garage. Jo has excellent communication.

Our stay was lovely! Close to all the things we love to do. Cozy cabin to snuggle up by the fire and play games after a day out in the snow! Thank you for always having the cabin ready for our stay! Happy Holidays!!

We loved Jo's place. Very comfortable, and easy to operate because she gives great instructions. The location was fantastic. We enjoyed a bonfire out back, and spent a lot of time on the back porch, or in front of the stone fireplace. We made all of our breakfasts and a few meal there. The kitchen is well stocked with useful tools and appliances. Highly recommend it to anyone!

This cabin was absolutely perfect! It was in a great location right off of Hwy 61 to serve as our home base for exploring the North Shore. Close to the winery to sit back and enjoy a glass of wine and take in some live music. Also close to the bike trail for a scenic ride on a great and mostly flat trail. The cabin was phenomenal — absolutely adorable and so very homey, spacious for us to spread out and relax, and had a wonderfully appointed kitchen so that we could cook and stay in if we felt too tired to venture back out for dinner after a long day of hiking and taking in all the sites. And Jo was a fantastic host — she was welcoming and gracious and a great resource for additional information to help us plan our adventures. Her communications were easy and helpful and set us up for a wonderful time enjoying the North Shore! I can’t say enough good things about our stay in her beautiful home!

Well maintained home with everything we needed!

Location! Location! Location! Plus… a great view, quiet area, fun backyard birds, everything as advertised! We hope to return!

This was a perfect getaway location and centrally located for all the sites we wanted to visit. Jo was helpful and responded quickly when needed. We enjoyed the back deck and four seasons porch. The North Shore Winery is conveniently located next door with wonderful views of Lake Superior. We highly recommend.

Great rental with close access to Lutsen & northshore attractions

This was our second stay at Lutsen’s cutest vacation home, and we’re already looking forward to coming back again someday! This cabin is perfect for our needs. We appreciate the cleanliness of the home, the comfortable beds, the screened in porch, (Miraculously though, we saw very few mosquitoes this time around so could comfortably sit anywhere outside) the close proximity to the beauty of the North Shore, shopping, quality restaurants, (Angry Trout is a family favorite) and being within walking distance to North Shore Winery is just icing on the cake. Jo is always so responsive and has equipped the home with everything we could possibly need. After spending a few nights here, it sure was hard heading back to the Missouri heat and humidity. I’m ready to come back already!

Great location and great folks! Everything we needed!

My family had a lovely off-season stay at this cabin, the first weekend in May. It was clean, comfortable and spacious. It was a great location for our daily adventures to many of the area State Parks, all the way up to Grand Portage. Jo was great to communicate with, and even sent us some nearby activity ideas since many things at Lutsen would be closed when we visited.We enjoyed coming back to the cabin after our day’s adventures to relax, play games and watch movies. The kids used the whirlpool tub one time and enjoyed that (though the jets are very loud!)The only small complaints we had were that the fireplace didn’t work and the thermostat seemed to be on the fritz, so it would get really hot (especially upstairs). I know Jo would have fixed the issues for us if we had contacted her about it, but it wasn’t a big enough issue us to bother about. We told her afterwards and they took care of it. I had the impression from the listing that the cabin was deeper in the woods, but it is right by the road with just a few trees between. We could hear the cars driving by early in the morning. The next door cabin is right next door. You can see it especially when there are no leaves on the trees. Maybe that all was clear on the website and I just missed it. It was still a great place to stay. I loved the views of the Lake from the upstairs bedroom, and drinking my morning coffee in the living room overlooking the woods behind the cabin. I recommend staying here

Great location to stay for those skiing at Lutsen Mt, which is just a mile up the hill. Cozy cabin is spacious and well equipped. Located in a quiet location, surrounded by forest. Check out the local winery just a short walk up the hill! Would definitely stay again.

This was our family’s third stay in this wonderful cabin, and it was once again a lovely experience. We have thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stays, from the attentive and timely communication with the owner, to the well-appointed kitchen, to the overall coziness, comfort and cleanliness of the cabin. Great location to nearby state parks, hiking, skiing, etc. and walking distance to the winery. At this point it truly feels like a home away from home, and we have many fond memories of our time spent together here.

Close to everything Lutsen. Good spot for 4-6 occupants.

My extended family spends a weekend on the north shore every year. We have stayed at many cabins and resorts, and this is one is definitely one of the top places we have stayed. Clean, updated, perfect for our group of 7. Some of the things we appreciated were the new pots and pans and a complete kitchen (everything you could need!). We also liked the two different porches - one open air and one screened in - perfect for MN nights with mosquitos. Great location for exploring the Grand Marais area. Would definitely stay here again.

The house was located near many great day hikes along the Superior trail and State Parks. It was nice to end the day with a cozy house and comfy beds.

Very nice home to spend some time in. Nice televisions for the Olympics…fully stocked kitchen for our meals. Nice location to many parks. The deck is unique…that it is partially open…and part screened in. After a fire one night…we met a bear running around the corner…fun!
