Coldwater~ Rustic, Charming, Secluded, on Premier Trout Stream

This cabin is located in a large resort area. It was nicely situated on the River, very private, with neighbors near, but out of sight. It’s a bit of a trek by car getting back to the cabin, but no difficult or challenging roads, just a bit of gravel near the end. You’ll find everything you’ll need at the cabin. It is superbly equipped and very tastefully decorated and furnished. The owners are super responsive to any needs. Lots of things to do and see nearby. It was a great long weekend!

The neighbor downriver running the air compressor most of the morning was kind of annoying. Generator running up room for a couple of evenings also annoying. In the rocky road running uphill out was a bit of a challenge

Great cabin, great location, pretty private with only 1 cabin past you almost zero traffic. The owner, Cindy's, turn by turn directions were spot on to get you right to the front door. My only complaint would be the neighbor next door (last house) has driveway , lights and house lights , they never turn off.

This mahestic place is very deep in the mountains. Make sure your vehicles are equipped for sure. An absolute Beautiful spot right next to the river. The house is perfect. Be prepared to loose celluar service and just unplug.

The hosts Brian and Cindy were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and went far above and beyond for us! Fantastic log cabin (situated right on the water) was well maintained and beautifully decorated in true rustic style for mountain top living! Highly recommended stay!! You will NOT be disappointed!!

This cabin was the perfect getaway for my husband and I to celebrate our anniversary. The accommodations were just as described, possibly even better! The cabin was quaint and cozy, and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The hosts were quick to respond whenever I reached out. Well, I had no luck catching trout in the stream, I did have a little otter friend show up to entertain me. We enjoyed relaxing by the outdoor stove, and hearing nothing but nature.

OUR HOST WERE EXCELLANT, AND OUR STAY WAS GREAT, ALL THE AMENITIES WERE EXCELLANT... THE LOCATION WAS PERFECT FOR A RESET FROM WORK AND STRESS.... THE CREEK AND ALL THE WILDLIFE THAT WE SAW , JUST ADDED TO THE EXPIERENCE... IF YOU ARE A NATURE LOVER , AND ENJOY BEING SURROUNDED BY GODS CREATION THIS IS THE SPOT FOR YOU....

Great place to stay! Very quaint very well decorated and conveniently located. The cabin was very clean, the bed was comfortable. We had no issues with anything working. The owners checked in with us to make sure everything was alright when we arrived. Would most definitely recommend the rental to family and friends!

This property is exactly as described. The owners are quick to reply and are very helpful and friendly. The cabin is well kept and clean. The inside is decorated to the nine - Adorable! Everything you need to stay in and relax for a few days is provided. This place is truly charming! The property is tucked away on a private road with a creek right outside your cabin. My husband and I played board games, cooked, enjoyed the pot belly stove on the porch while listening to the river, and took a few day drives for some hiking. If you want to escape from life's busyness and feel like you are off the grid with all of the conveniences of home amenities, this is the place for you.

Great place for an anniversary get away. Very clean place. Polite host. Amazing porch with a great view and a wood fire stove. Had an amazing weekend. Its only about 10 mins from the apple festival. Youll want to drive something that can get up a steep gravel hill. Will definitely be going back.

Coldwater cabin is secluded, comfortable and clean. The poarch overlooks the river; the ideal place to relax to sounds of nature and the gentle rippling of the water. The location is close to shopping, hiking and the Blue Ridge Railway. The perfect place for the perfect, relaxing getaway!

The cabin had everything we needed. The host responded quickly. We loved having our coffee on the front porch listeninq to the birds and the babbling creek.

Good place to relax and destress

The cabin was great! Very clean and well appointed. The host were more than helpful. The only issue I had was the trout fishing on that part of the river is not the greatest.

The property was very nice and we enjoyed our stay . The only complaint is that the cabin is not very far from a cabin on the left and right . If the other cabins have families that are loud , you are going to hear them

Great visit . Dumb waiter for luggage and supplies would make it awsome. Few flights of stairs . But overall great, river was up a little and not as clear for trout fishing

The process with Cynthia from start to finish was incredible. She was super responsive answering any questions quickly.The home is in an ideal location if you're looking for peace and quiet. It sits directly across from the river with it's lovely deck space overlooking the water. It is the second to last home on a dead end. The interior of the home is perfectly decorated in a fishing theme with plenty of space to enjoy a meal, play a board game (supplied) or sit by the gas fireplace. The kitchen is spacious with an island and fully stocked with everything you need (sans tea kettle, but we managed just fine boiling water in a pot). Sitting on the deck, listening to the running water below is intoxicating! In the evening, we cooked on the grill and enjoyed a fire in the pot-belly stove on the deck. Everything worked without a hitch! There is great attention to detail in the home and it simply put us at ease the minute we walked inside. Check in was seamless with a lockbox and I recommend having your reservation number written on a piece of paper for the security guard so it's handy each time you come and go from the premises.Cynthia and Brian are lucky I didn't become a squatter! I absolutely loved their home and am grateful they shared it with me. Zero negatives for me!

My husband and I stayed three nights at this peaceful and beautifully maintained property. From booking to check-out our hosts communicated promptly and in great detail. The listing is exactly as described and we highly recommend for a relaxing retreat. We would most definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful weekend at the cabin. We enjoyed fishing in the creek and exploring Ellijay. It was the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing weekend!

Beautiful location and not far from downtown. Very clean and well kept with everything you need for a get away. Really enjoyed listening to the river flow while enjoying a fire in the outdoor fireplace. Very relaxing.

This cabin is super cute and relaxing ! It keeps a nice temp. Super quiet except when you step out to hear the stream , so relaxing ! We love to cook our own meals and this cabin has everything you need! The bed was super comfortable! Id love to stay again! Just what we needed!!!!

The drive to the property was not as bad as i expected, roads past the guard gate/entrance was a little narrow and winding, but 2 cars can pass in both directions. The directions given by owner was accurate, but street signs are not that large. I don't recommend coming here after dark. Not far from the town, which has multiple stores in the area. Though secluded, you can see that there is another cabin on the right and left of this property, but many trees in between, so you still have privacy. The picture shows stairs on lower level, but not seen in the photo are more flights of stairs towards the left side to climb to get to the top level where entrance is located. There is no entrance from the lower level. So if you have back, knee or health issues and have difficulty climbing a few flights of stairs, this may be a little challenging for you. My elderly parents could not stay here. This was a wonderful getaway, the scenery and sounds of the stream was so nice. Communication with owners was great. There are 2 tvs, but the remote for upstairs tv was not working too good, esp the volume controls. Bring your own toiletries( ex: shampoo, shower gel, toothpaste). There extra paper towels and toilet paper onsite. The WIFI connection was good/strong, most past cabins I've stayed in had spotty wifi and cellphone reception.

This property is a gem on the Coosawattee River. Located 12 minutes from the community entrance, this cabin is perfectly situated in the mountains without being too far away from town. Cabin was immaculate, everything worked properly, and the host was great with communications. We look forward to our next visit to Coldwater!

Very, very clean, cozy cabin. Loved sitting on the backporch in the early mornings with the stove lit. Owner was extremely reaponsive with questions and was so kind to let us check in early when we got into town earlier than expected. The only thing I could critique, is that we were expecting a more secluded cabin, away from others and there was a very noisy cabin next door early in the morning and late at night, at no fault of the owners, but we believed to not have anyone around based on the description. Overall a very nice stay, again, sooo clean and cozy. town earlier than expected.
