Charming Mountain View Cabin, Rumbling Bald, Lake Lure

Beautiful property!!! Very clean

This house was absolutely beautiful, clean and elegant with a warm cozy cabin vibe. Family celebrated Thanksgiving here and there was everything we could possibly need to make a holiday dinner. Best time ever. Can't wait to go back

We loved our stay in this charming cabin with beautiful views of the mountains. It was awesome to be within the Rumbling Bald resort to have access to those amenities. The cabin was clean and the hosts made everything super easy!

Beautiful, clean, well-maintained, home in a quiet location with stunning view of the mountains. Great layout with multitude of sleeping options, so we were able to comfortably sleep two families each with two adults and two children (eight total and we still had room to spare). The spacious kitchen, eating, and living area made the common spaces very functional for meal times and family gathering times. We enjoyed the porch spaces as well, including roasting marshmallows on the gas fire pit. The resort amenities were easily accessible and are well maintained with lots of friendly, helpful staff on grounds. There were many activities available to keep the children busy while still providing the feeling of a mountain lake retreat. This home is great for families but would also be a lovely location for a couple looking for a quiet home with lots of windows and views for a relaxing mountain retreat. The hosts were always quick to respond to our questions and are very kind, personable, and professional. When we return this property will be our first choice!

Lovely home and nice for a family stay. Loved the view off the deck! Our 4 boys had the entire upstairs to themselves and took advantage of the game room as well. We had everything we needed, and the resort amenities were a great addition. The local restaurants were good. Unfortunately, it rained most of our week, and there is nothing to do inside around Lake Lure for miles. Just to let folks know, the driveway is steep, but manageable.

We had a wonderful stay at this home. Incredible views, very clean and well-stocked. Plenty of space to spread out, and the basement game room was a huge hit. We even had a few bears come by to visit. Communication with the owner was great and there was easy access to all the Rumbling Bald amenities. I would highly recommend this beautiful home.

Gorgeous property, beautifully located!

The house was well maintained and nicely decorated. It has a warm cozy feeling. The location is private and has good views. We had a wonderful time.

The house was perfectly clean and had all the amenities one would need. The ping pong table and foosball table were favorites as well as good porch sitting! The beds were comfortable and rooms were spacious. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and sparkling water, coffee, and great kitchen staples - these things make a difference! Rumbling Bald Resort has great amenities providing fun for the whole family. We recommend horseback riding with Cedar Creek Stables, renting a kayak to explore the lake, and heading into Chimney Rock to spend a day!

We had a wonderful time. Everything was absolutely beautiful. The house, the view, the lake and Rumbling Bald. The house was very clean and had many extra touches. Loved the jetted tub in the master bathroom. I also enjoyed many quiet moments on the swing just taking in all nature has to offer. Was a great center point for taking day trips to see waterfalls, Chimney Rock, Grandfather Mountain, The Biltmore and shopping in Blowing Rock. Also Rumbling Bald had many things to keep you entertained. Would love to return with my family some day.
