Cabin was comfortable with the space heaters on as long as you closed the door to the mudroom whether you were upstairs or downstairs. Some of the appliances have some wear and tear. One of the burners didn't want to turn on, the arm to the chair was hanging on by a screw, and the bathroom toilet paper holder isn't very secure. The beds were comfortable and warm and the shower's water pressure and temperature were comfortable. The location was convenient and only a short walk to the Mt. Hood Shuttle across from the Chevron station.
Great rustic ski cabin ! Just what we needed for a short stay on the mountain, thank you! We will be back!
Great location in walking distance to shops and restaurants.
This is a cozy little cabin that is close to the local bars and restaurants.
Very nice little cabin a couple of blocks from all the stuff in Government Camp, Took the shuttle from Sandy and didn't have to deal with driving in the snow. I definitely would book this place again
Great stay cozy and comfortable
Great location, functional, however could use a few improvements: we found a few roaches in the downstairs non-carpeted entry area, Internet service was very slow, there were few electrical outlets available, heat seems to only be provided by the fireplace or a portable electric heater, and there were no curtains on the window in the door to the main bedroom.
it was the first and not entirely successful trip to the government camp. Arriving at this house, we did not find the keys in the lock box, we waited until they gave us another code from another lock box. When we entered the house, we wanted to warm up (because it was very cold outside), but the house was very cold. It turns out that it is not heated. We turned on the heaters and waited a very long time for it to heat up.our children are very cold.
Very convenient location! We walked down the street to Glacier Public House and to the General Store.
The space is small and the fireplace and heaters do a great job of keeping the space warm. Perfect for a family of 4.
We stayed here for 12 days which was too long for this place. Would be a good short vacation spot. Great location for skiing in the winter and hiking during non-skiing times of the year. There are issues with the house that one should be aware of, lights bulbs were out with no spares, electric wok with no cord, steep narrow stairs going up to the second level with no hand rails, the downstairs is dark, one has to be constantly aware of the low ceiling upstairs, different levels inside the house, issues with the stovetop burners, very limited cooking pots.
The cabin was excellent!
Had a nice weekend at the cabin. Might not be suitable if you consider working from there (internet was pretty slow) but a nice place to use as a gateway to nature.
Needed a convenient place to ski Timberline and Meadows. This was perfect.
