Charming Cottage near Roche Harbor! (BSB)

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place was adorable and great for our honeymoon! We bought food to cook there since we were staying a week, and they had all the dishes necessary to cook! We used the grill for steaks one night, and were able to wash out cloths which was great! The managers provided us a cute card, cookies, and a pan to cook a turkey since we stayed the week of thanksgiving! It was very kind and appreciated. HIGHLY recommend!

Host was welcoming. The house had a great location and was by a hiking trail! It was very clean and nice :-)

The house is clean but a little dated, the outlsde lawn and upkeep of the yard is terrible, Weeds everywhere, plants in planter dead, laws was just a bunch dead grass and weeds.. Nothing like the picture on the listing. It is prime season so no excuse not to proivde some yard service as that is the main draw of property

Lovely cottage that was very easy to access and worked well for myself and elderly parents. The property had all the amenities we needed and was clean and cozy. Communication with the property managers was also quick and helpful. We had a great visit!

Easy house to stay at

Amazing stay for a family that loves being together in a wonderful place. The road that ends into a oyster farm is the cherry on top.House perfect

Such a cute place nestled in a little neighborhood on the north side of the island. We picked up oysters, clams, & mussels from the Westcott bay shellfish co. at the end of the street, amazing!! The island is not huge so we were able to see a lot in just a few days. Amazing views of the ocean, beautiful hiking trails, and on our last morning we saw a rare black fox, 2 bald eagles, & topped it off with the most vibrant rainbow over the water while waiting for the ferry!! 100% recommend!!

This cute home was an amazing get away for our family. It is cozy and well stocked. We loved sitting outside and were visited by deer and foxes each day. The neighborhood is quiet and we were able to walk to local trails that went all the way to the ocean. The bed were very comfortable and we had everything we needed to cook in the kitchen. We would love to come back!

The house was clean and cutely decorated, but not quite as advertised. Thankfully they have updated the listing since we complained because it previously boasted water views and beach access. You can see a sliver of the water from the upstairs bedroom. The beach “access” was overgrown so we called the property manager. To their credit, they had someone come out and cut back the waist-high growth and blackberry stickers. However, the embankment with its ancient frayed rope was not safe so we couldn’t enjoy the beach. The house itself is nicely built on a large yard, but there isn’t a single comfortable place to sit. The lovely green lawn shown in pictures was dead, with landscaping nonexistent and chairs not made to sit more than a few minutes. The beds were uncomfortable and old, and there’s no couch. The futon is not suitable for more than one adult and even then it’s not comfortable. We still had a great vacation because San Juan Island is the best, but we wouldn’t stay here again. The owners are enjoying a good price point because of the location but they need to upgrade the furniture and do a bit of yard work to make it nicer.
