Charming 2 BR Log Home Super Views Paved Access Gravel Drive Hot Tub, & WIFI

We had a great time at this property. We enjoyed the view from the hottub. The property had all the essentials, utensils, board games etc. Toilet and towel paper were a little low, would recommend carrying extra just in case. Other than that, I think anyone will enjoy this place. Driving up the hill to get here at night was quite an adventure.

Comfortable, clean mountain cabin. Kitchen well equipped. Perfect to spend a few days with family and close enough to the ski area to spend the day skiing. Garbage disposable system should be improved to avoid the inconvenience to drive with garbage bags to find where to dispose. We will be back soon.

Check-in was seamless. Honestly couldn't have went any better!! And the kitchen is fully stocked, just bring the food!

Very clean, and overall great place. Nicely decorated and cozy.Steep drive up but that's what you have to do to have a good view.Great place to stay and explore the South Side of GSMNP and the areas around it.

Family of 5 (lo are 10,7, 5) had a blast! This property was everything advertised and more. Phenomenal view, beautiful decor throughout the house, and centrally located. Don’t hesitate to stay here. Loves: hot tub, fire pit, and view! Will need to be cautious of vehicle used to get here as steep gravel drive. Jeep grande Cherokee did the job for us.

Very nice place! We would definitely consider staying there again! Very comfortable for a family of 4!

We really did enjoy our stay, not many complaints besides having to take the trash out due to Maggie valley not having a service that comes out. Besides that it’s very clean, and lovely place to stay!

We hiked, walked around downtown Waynesville and visited Biltmore. The hot tub was a perfect ending to those days. The road up to the cabin is steep but paved. The driveway way is also steep and a bit intimidating, but two cars can easily fit. We had an issue the last day with the dishwasher not working but I am sure that will be addressed asap. I cannot say enough good things about this cabin or Melissa, the very responsive and helpful property manager. We hated to leave!

It’s just perfect for a couple (or 2) or a couple with two children. The views from the deck are outstanding with wonderful sunrises.The paved road is excellent with easy access to town and the gravel driveway is not too steep at all, making it very easy to come and go.Having the gas grill handy is very helpful and much appreciated, and having great Wi-Fi makes a huge difference. Thank you for that!Melissa @ the management company is so easy to get along with andthe owners of the property are very kindhearted and accommodating. We have only been gone for a couple of days and I’m ready to go right back and would do so in a heartbeat! All in all, Sweet Retreat is the perfect spot for an extremely nice getaway!

Unique, beautiful view, bedrooms on main level made for easy access, and the only problem I had was we needed paper toiletries because I didn’t read that the owner don’t supply that. But that was my fault for not reading all of the details carefully! We would highly recommend this place just don’t forget to read the fine print!

The best view ever! Very high up. Very clean home and well built. Bed was comfortable. No complaints. Would stay here again without hesitation.

Cute 2 bedroom log cabin. We enjoyed our stay. Just know that the driveway is steep. We were in a truck and the back wheels kept spinning since there was no weight in the back. My husband finally figured out we needed to back in and put the truck in low gear when leaving and then the wheels didn't spin. It is tricky backing in though. Hope this helps.

I would recommend this property to couples or to a small family. Our experience was great, the only hiccup was that when we arrived after a 11 hour drive, the beds weren’t made. There were sheets in the closet, so no problem, we were able to make the bed. The next day we were contacted by the host, apparently there was a mistake about what day we were arriving. New sheets and towels were provided right away so no problem. I would stay at this cabin again.

Real nice place. Hot tub was great. Private too. The only thing that seemed odd to us was that you had to bring your own toilet paper. Seems like a really odd thing to not supply. gues guest.Besides that really odd

It was everything and more that was advertised. It was a beautiful cabin and super clean. I will definitely be back!! I had an amazing 30th wedding anniversary 4 days.

Enjoyed the cabin very much. It was nicely decorated and very clean. Had all the amenities that you need. Would love to return sometime in the future! Hot tub and view was great!!!

The property is exactly like listing , this house has everything for a stay..kids enjoyed all the board games, hot water tub etc.. this place is also located close to groceries, restaurants, shopping, gas etc. It was easy to drive to the place with well paved roads.. will definitely come back ..
