Cedar Rest is a Charming Cabin Just 17 Miles From Gates Of Yellowstone

This cabin was perfect for a trip to Yellowstone. It’s about 15 minutes from the west entrance gate. It was very cozy and had everything you needed. The master bedroom was the most comfortable bed I’ve stayed in on a vacation. The cabin stayed warm and was very quiet. I would recommend this to anyone!

Cabin was nice, very accommodating, four adults, plenty of room. Nice location, 17 miles from west Yellowstone entrance, Beds were ok but not extremely comfortable. Not all the burners on the stove work correctly, inside element burnt out on one burner. Guest bathroom toilet is set to where a little water runs through continuously to keep water in cabin from freezing, very difficult to flush and annoying. Clothes washer needs a good cleaning , has a faint mildew smell. With a little maintenance would be an A accommodation, I would rate it a B .

We really enjoyed our stay. This place is spacious and perfectly located just a short, beautiful drive to the Yellowstone entrance and all the places we wanted to explore. Everything was easy, from check in to check out, and our host was extremely friendly and easy to communicate with. We would definitely recommend this wonderful house!

The property is perfect for a family getaway!

The cabin is beautiful inside! We walked in and even my teenagers were impressed (and that's hard to accomplish!). The cabin looked brand new and had everything we needed for our family of 5. It's in a quiet neighborhood on a dead end road about 20-25 mins from the West Entrance of Yellowstone. There are other cabins nearby but we never really saw or heard other people. So nice to have washer and dryer and air conditioning, which is apparently not common here. We would not hesitate to stay here again if ever back in the area!! We ate at Connie's in Island Park for dinner one night and it was good. I will say, for those coming to the area, we had zero cell signal in Island Park, West Yellowstone, the park and all surrounding areas, so if you're wanting to think about looking up restaurants or maps or anything be sure and do so while you are at the cabin with good WiFi!

This cabin was perfect for our visit to Yellowstone. It's 20 minutes from the west entrance and is located in a quiet area. It's bigger than it looks in the pictures and had plenty of room for our group of 4 adults and 3 kids. It was clean, and the kitchen had all the pots/pans/gadgets we needed (though the toaster was pretty finicky). It reminded us a lot of our own cabin, so we felt right at home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this fabulous cabin surrounded by amazing landscapes and the beauty of nature. If you are looking for an escape from the stresses of everyday life, look no further! I especially enjoyed seeing the moose who visited the neighborhood one morning during our stay. We’ll absolutely be back!

The cabin was comfortable, well outfitted, great water pressure and coyotes and owls at night. Rumors of a moose family which we stalked but didn't find. Loved it.

Beautiful cabin. Quiet area. Saw moose the very 1st morning right along side of the cabin. Beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. If we could have changed anything it would be that it would be closer to West Yellowstone. We would definitely stay there again

Wonderful stay, great distance from Yellowstone. The house had everything we needed. Everything was very clean. We also enjoyed Marvin the Moose who would come visit the yard most night. It was so fun to sit on the porch and just watch Him. Would stay here again.

Great house!! Very comfortable and cozy. We had some trouble finding it in the dark so maybe better description of road type etc... le finding it in the dark the first night

The house was really nice and perfectly met the needs of our group. My dad enjoyed the porch and we all appreciated the serene and quiet area. You could hear some highway noises but I slept with any open window and was not disturbed.We made a few meals at the house and found the kitchen and grill user friendly with the exception of a cheese grater. LOL Kudos to the owners for a pleasant stay.

We were very happy with our stay as everything was just perfect… There was plenty of room for the 5 of us. It was very clean and cozy. Great instructions on how to get there and lock code entry was easy. We stayed for three nights, but wished we had many more…The beds were comfortable and the house was very well stocked. it was close enough to Yellowstone, but not too close. It was located in a great neighborhood that we would walk every morning and evening to wind down from our long days in Yellowstone. We were left with a nice goodie bag which was super thoughtful of our wonderful host. The dill pickle mustard was a big hit! Thank you for a fantastic stay.

Property was perfect, the washer and dryer were a godsend for halfway through our trip. The cabin was perfect size and if there was something missing I’m not sure what. The only thing that might be improved was the lighting over the mirrors in the bathrooms., since there is no natural light in bathrooms. Distance from park wasn’t bad. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Everything you need and then some. Nothing like setting on the deck in the morning drinking coffee and watching a Moose.
