Your whole family's hideaway near Yellowstone
Cave Falls Hideaway was built for the trips you'll talk about for years — the family reunion, the multi-generational vacation, the group fishing weekend, the snowmobile crew, the wedding party that needs somewhere to crash together. Five bedrooms, three full bathrooms, a kitchen built to host a feast, and enough living space that no one has to whisper or wait in line for coffee.
It's a hideaway in the best way: your whole group, your whole week, your private corner of the forest — tucked into the trees just outside Yellowstone, far from crowds and inflated nightly rates.
Wake up to pink mountain skies and fresh air. Spend the day in three of America's most beautiful national parks. Come home to a 10-person hot tub, a roaring fire pit under a star-soaked sky, and beds that are actually comfortable.
Why guests keep coming back
50+ five-star reviews from families, fishing groups, ski parties, and reunions. Guests tell us the same things over and over: the hideaway is spotless, it actually sleeps 12 comfortably, the location is peaceful, and the value beats anything closer to the park gates. Our professional cleaners disinfect and shine every corner before you arrive.
Sleeping arrangements (12 guests across 5 bedrooms)

Master Suite — King bed, smart TV, fireplace, private en-suite bathroom with spa shower

Wide forest views in every direction

Location: the quiet side of Yellowstone
We sit on the west side of the park, away from the crowds and inflated rates of West Yellowstone town. The hideaway is named after Cave Falls, the hidden southwest entrance to Yellowstone that's only accessible from the back roads passing right by us — a Yellowstone experience most travelers never find.
From the cabin:

Cave Falls, Yellowstone — 20 min (a hidden southwest entrance most travelers never reach)
Mesa Falls — 20 min (one of Idaho's most spectacular waterfalls)
Harriman State Park — 30 min (wildlife, hiking, cross-country skiing)
Island Park — 30 min (world-class ATV and snowmobile trails)
Yellowstone West Entrance — 45 min
Grand Teton National Park — minutes away on the back side
Jackson, Wyoming — 90 min
Grand Targhee Resort — about 1 hr (skiing, mountain biking)
Ashton (groceries, dining) — 15 min
Idaho Falls Airport — 75 min
Jackson Hole Airport — 90 min

A four-season hideaway
Summer: Yellowstone, Grand Teton, hiking, river floating, canoeing, fishing, horseback riding, climbing, scenic drives.
Fall: Elk rut, fall colors, hunting season, quiet park visits without summer crowds.
Winter: World-class snowmobile and ATV trails minutes away, cross-country skiing at Harriman, sledding, ice fishing, downhill at Grand Targhee.
Spring: The famous Henry's Fork salmonfly hatch (legendary among fly fishers), wildlife viewing, peaceful pre-season Yellowstone trips.
Golf course minutes away for the warm-weather golfers in the group.
Perfect for
Family reunions • multi-generational vacations • group fly fishing trips • snowmobile and ATV crews • wedding parties • hunting groups • ski weekends • milestone birthdays • anyone who wants real space without Jackson-Hole prices.
Book early — the hideaway fills fast for July 4th week, Christmas, the May salmonfly hatch, and winter snowmobile season. We're now taking bookings year-round.

This is a beautiful cabin in a nice quiet area. The cabin has a well stocked kitchen with plenty of pans, bowls, utensils, etc. We had a party of 6 & there were plenty of bathroom & hot tub towels. The owner was very nice, helpful, & easy to get ahold of. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Beautiful and spacious home, with high quality finishes and furniture. Peaceful setting. Centrally located between several parks, and close to dining and groceries. Great for our family of 8! Lots of things to do at the house if you wanted a rest day. Brandon was super helpful with places to see in the area. We highly recommend and hope to return!

This was such a beautiful cabin! Very clean with lots of room and plenty of fresh air! Brandon was an excellent host, giving us recommendations throughout our stay for places to go and things to see! This cabin was conveniently located not far from Ashton. Cabin was very clean, warm and welcoming. Beds were comfortable, and kitchen well stocked. Kids loved the trampolines and the adults enjoyed the hot tub. Little bit of a drive to the parks but we wanted something in between so this worked out great. Brandon was a pleasure to communicate with. I had several questions and he was very responsive, even helping to provide additional items we needed. We loved our stay and our host! I can't thank him enough for making our vacation even more wonderful! Little area note: The little grocery store in town had way more than anticipated. Oh and definitely try the corn dog (Snow buzzz) stand in town (get honey drizzle lol), you won't regret it.

Absolutely gorgeous house and property that was a great location equidistant between Yellowstone National Park and Teton National Park. Both are over 90 minutes away, but it’s a great location to be able to go to both. We had 10 family members ranging from 7 to 70 and the house was wonderful to host all of us. The trampolines and hot tub were extra fun. The outdoor fireplace is fabulous and they even had s’mores roasting sticks, and tons of firewood ready for us to use. Brandon the host was an excellent communicator and fully available anytime we needed anything. Would highly recommend this property!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was perfectly secluded and quiet. Very clean. The kids loved the trampoline and horseshoe pit. We were able to experience Yellowstone and the Tetons, and also explore some more local, very cool places like mesa falls and cave falls.

Great location to visit Yellowstone and Grand Tetons. The inground trampolines were a big hit with our grand children. Beautiful setting….we even had a mamma moose and her baby stroll through one morning.

Our family was looking for the perfect home to rest and relax after a day of adventuring in the nearby parks. Close to Yellowstone, Grand Teton, and Jackson Hole, we were thrilled to have such a comfortable place of refuge at the end of the day. Our kids loved the trampolines and the downstairs theater experience in the large living room. We cooked dinners as a family and had so much fun with a lot of family time. Thank you again!

We loved our short 3 night stay at the cabin. Brandon was super helpful with our travel plans and made some great recommendations of things to do. One of those was visiting the Mesa falls, which were incredible. He was very quick to respond to any questions we had. Excellent host! The cabin is well maintained and had everything we needed. Wish we could have stayed there longer! Will definitely recommend to any friends traveling to the area.
