This beautiful log cabin is one of just a few cabins located in the Sawtooth National Recreational Area, which sports world-famous fishing, white water rafting, and hiking.

The free-standing cabin is on a private dirt road off Highway 75 just a few miles from beautiful Stanley, Idaho. Enjoy this relaxing getaway within walking distance of spectacular hikes, world-class fishing and rafting, or just relax in the mountain air on a porch or in a hammock with your favorite book! Fish for your breakfast out your back door and cook your catch on the beautiful vintage-style wood-burning stove in the kitchen. This cabin has a private main-floor bedroom with a queen bed as well as two sleeping lofts with two more queen beds, a full bed, and two single beds.

In the scenic Sawtooth Valley, this clean and cozy cabin provides a beautifully appointed but rustic space where you can escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and relax to the sound of the rippling river and the wind in the pines. The cabin is neat and clean while also surrounding you with a mix of both vintage and modern touches.

Central Idaho is an area unlike any other. Every path you find will lead you to areas that are so untouched by humans that you wonder if you are the only one who has ever been there. The rushing rivers and towering mountaintops are more impressive everywhere you look. The beautiful wilderness area in the surrounding area will call you outside for a day of hiking, fishing, swimming, and exploring. Afterward, you can spend a relaxing evening under the stars with people you love around the fire pit enjoying ghost stories and s'mores! Stanley is designated as a Dark Sky Reserve, where the stars are so bright it feels like you can reach out and touch them. Stargazing is an incredible way to spend one of your nights here. As the day comes to an end, the cozy fireplace, handmade quilts and fluffy comforters, and the logs harvested by hand from the property and used in the construction of the cabin will call you back in. Your dreams will be filled with the excitement of the day and anticipation of what tomorrow might hold.

We hope you enjoy this heavenly place as much as we do!

Wow! We absolutely loved our stay at the cabin! We had eight adults total (our three kids and their spouses), and it was the perfect fit. The main living room overlooking the Salmon River quickly became our favorite gathering spot — such a beautiful place to relax together. Our next favorite was the big kitchen table, large enough to seat all of us for sit-down dinners (yes, those are still possible with a little effort!).We loved the private master bedroom, while the more open upstairs space worked for the kids — thankfully, they all get along well! We also enjoyed the outdoor grill, and the kitchen was so well stocked — plenty of pots, pans, and even a couple of fishing rods waiting on the back porch. We stayed during the perfect season, with the cabin never feeling too hot or too cold.Britiney was very responsive and easy to communicate with during our stay. She even let us know of a late-breaking road closure that would have impacted the arrival of one of our kids - grateful for that!Would we book here again? Absolutely — just let us pick our dates first! LOL

Lovely cabin in our favorite area of Idaho. All the beds were cozy and our kids had fun sleeping in the loft. The cabin provided beautiful views out the window. We loved all the aspects of our family vacation stay at Casino Pines and can't wait to return. Highly Recommend!

A great location but maybe a little more rustic than we were expecting. We found a lot of mice droppings and cohabitated with a bay.

We had a fantastic stay at the cabin! The photos seriously do not do it justice! The home was so cozy and even with temps over 90* we were all comfortable and never hot. They had everything you could want for a great stay! My 3 older kids loved the sleeping loft and there was room for my husband and I plus a pack n play in the main bedroom. There is only one bathroom, but everyone including the baby loved the claw foot tub. It was so awesome to be able to do laundry after 2+ weeks on the road staying in various locations! It was a great location right on the river but close enough to go into Stanley for some yummy food! We also cooked a few meals, but didn’t want to heat up the whole house using the wood burning stove, but fortunately there are grills and propane burners outside to use! We would definitely stay again if we’re in the area (we came from IL)

the cabin was everything we hoped! It is close to Stanley, the kitchen was large enough for our group, everything functioned well. It was well-stocked; the only thing we could not find was coffee filters, which we had brought, in case. The beds were clean and very comfortable. Loft sleeping was warm in the warm summertime, but there were fans in the closets that worked well. A limiting factor for some guests may be the claw foot tub, which was clean and functional, but may be difficult to enter/exit for some with mobility challenges. I have no complaints with this place, or the management. We had a great time, thank you for a great host!

My family enjoyed the stay at the cabin. We were not able to use the fire pit but had a nice fire going in the fireplace which we all enjoyed. Loved being close to the river. Did some good fishing.
