Great view, location was close to attractions, kitchen was well equipped for home cooking, kids enjoyed the ping pong table.

We had a wonderful stay at this mountain house! The home was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The location was perfect—close to town and local attractions, but still peaceful and private with beautiful mountain surroundings. Check-in was easy, and the host was responsive and helpful. We’d definitely stay here again!

Everything was as advertised. Great communication . Clean. Peaceful. Convenient to Boone and ASU. Drive way is a little rough to navigate but we came in during the rain and didn’t really have any issues. You would definitely need all wheel drive if you were coming in when snow was probable.

Property and furnishings really dated. Maybe some updating of furnishings would be good. Location was very good. Close to Boone & Blowing Rock.

Stayed for the weekend and could not be happier. The location is *perfect*. Close to Boone, Blowing Rock, etc and very convenient. The place itself was very clean and comfortable. A nice place to return to at the end of the day's adventures and to wake up at and take in the calm of the mountains before heading out. Excellent communication before my stay and would absolutely choose to stay here again. 5-star stay all around.

The cabin was very clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the mountains from the living room window. The gravel road to the house is rough and difficult for sedan vehicles. It was helpful having two driveways since everyone in our group drove separately.

We had a wonderful vacation with our 10 year old grandsons. They absolutely loved the ping pong table downstairs. Our cabin had everything we needed! Loved the location!

This cabin worked out perfectly for our visit! Close to both Boone and Blowing Rock. Only minutes from a truly beautiful section of the Blue Ridge Parkway! Neat and clean. Everything we needed. Great communication, and the host graciously offered us both an early check-in and late check-out! Would definitely stay here again

Home was very clean, had all the things we needed. Host was very accommodating and let us check out a little later than expected.

We had a great stay. The house was perfect for our little family. It was clean and well equipped with everything we needed.

Family went for a ski trip during MLK weekend. The place was nice, secluded and view was great. Unfortunately we had to cut our trip short as there is a forecast of more snow and i'm not sure if we will get stuck if we wait for the next day. The hosts were great, very helpful and easy to reach when I needed some assistance.

It was a very cozy cabin, but the route to it is quite washed out because of the bad weather recently! The hosts were helpful and the instructions were accurate. Highly recommend an all wheel drive SUV for the travel!

Overall it was a welcoming and relaxing stay. The only issue we had was the water pressure

It’s hard to summarize the stay that we had. I will start with the negatives and then I will go to the positive; one of the negatives is that when we arrived there was no water and no water pressure after further investigation…there was a busted pipe that we had communicated with the owner about, but there were no repairs that were done during our stay, so we had no water and low water pressure. Also, the driveway to the house caused damage to our vehicle due to overgrown bushes and washed out rock. Onto the positives. We came up there for Tweetsie Railroad and we were at a very good location for the Railroad. also a good distance for food and other activities. And the house was toddler friendly, which is always a great plus. Will definitely stay here again. Hopefully this time with water. Communication with the owner was very nice and they gave a moderate discount for lack of water.

Overall the cabin was clean, comfortable, was well stocked with anything needed, and nice view. Getting a quick response on having a charcoal grill, not gas, allowed purchase of coal and starter before coming into the cabin. We did have some difficulty with water pressure, which made it difficult to flush the toilet at times. We also would have benefited from having instructions on using the TV with three different remotes. Instructions sent on getting into the cabin by road was also important. We managed the driveway ok, but there was quite a wash out of rocks between the cabin and the neighbors. Large cinderblocks in the road were pretty obtrusive to driving that part and turning around the curve. It was very peaceful and quiet. loved seeing the hummingbirds also.

We had a wonderful time here. Very close to tweetsie railroad. Great views, very clean, and had everything we needed for our stay!

We enjoyed our visit but had trouble with TV controls and operating dish washer, no instructions.

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin is nicer than the photos appear. It has a lovely view with lots of birds. Saw July 4th fireworks from the back porch. Close to the Parkway, Boone, and Blowing Rock.

Lovely little cabin for my family of three. Close to Boone/blowing rock and all of its offerings, but cozy enough to enjoy evenings at home grilling and playing board games and slow mornings watching the cows in the meadow below the deck.

Our family had a lovely time here this summer! We were in town to bring our kids to Tweetsie and visit Boone and Blowing Rock, and this was the perfect location to do that. It’s also more spacious than it looks in the pictures. We loved how the kids room was set up with the bunk beds!
