Stayed May 14, 2026I was so happy to find this gem of a retreat near the ranch we were visiting. I did not expect it- but it just goes to show you - you just have to research and boom - there is the perfect place. It was spotless, big rooms, a great kitchen and wonderful bathrooms. There are three homes here, a gift store and a small cabin to check out games and if that isn’t enough - there is a tornado shelter that is 25,000 pounds!!! Carol, our host l, has thought of everything- from coffee pods to brew coffee makers- to views of the lake , fire pits and patches of wild flowers… you can even buy cinnamon rolls at the gift store. And it is VERY quiet - we slept like babies!! This is a great find!!!

Stayed Aug 23, 2025We loved your cardinal cabin. The property was so beautiful and relaxing! We met our son from college here for the night. He plays football at a university about an hour away. Turns out the speed of the trolling motor was the perfect medicine to unwind after finishing a hectic fall training camp month. This may be his new favorite kickoff tradition :)

Stayed Jun 24, 2024Carol was an amazing host. She was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The house was beautiful, comfortable and well stocked with all the necessities. Just bring your food and you are good to go. The kayaking and fishing made the trip very enjoyable. We had a wonderful time and are planning to return!

Stayed Jul 14, 2023Great location to Stratford and Ada OK. Out in the country but an easy drive into town. Peaceful. Beautiful property and wonderful accommodations. Very nice house/cabin with everything you need for your stay. New, clean and very spacious. Carol, our host is awesome and super easy to work with and goes out of her way to make you feel at home.
