Stayed Aug 30, 2025Overall, this was a solid location for our extended weekend up north! I don’t recall there being any information about this being a cabin without any air conditioning on the listing—so that was a bit of a surprise. There were fans and it cooled off pretty well at night. Additionally, the listing posts a large property for exploring and being tucked off from the bustle of the town, however, you are right behind a mini golf business and tucked off of the highway so there is still a decent amount of noise throughout the day and night. There was great communication with the host and we enjoyed our time in this cozy and cute little cabin! Great place for our pup who loved it as well.

It’s every bit as stylish as the pictures show and super clean— has that wonderful fresh “up north” smell as soon as you walk in, and you can hear birds singing all day…It was perfect for a class at the Folk School, which was 3-4 minutes away. Hope to stay again very soon.

Stayed Jan 12, 2025We had a great stay at Camp du Nord. The space itself is new, fresh, and thoughtfully decorated, and included some fun surprises like a record player, games, and camping-themed cookbooks. Modern appliances and wifi helped it feel more luxury retreat than cabin, while the large lot and surrounding woods kept that North Shore atmosphere. We stayed during high winds and below-zero weather and were completely snug! Great communication from the hosts, as well.
