Quiet green getaway
We attended the PT Jazz Festival and wanted a quiet place to stay. This fit the bill. The cabins were well built, charming, very clean, and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. We enjoyed sitting outside at the picnic table or in the Adirondack chairs on the lawn surrounded by beautiful trees. Three of us slept in the Lodge cabin, and two in the Honeymoon cabin. We all slept well! The beds were comfortable and bedding was really cozy. We didn't cook there, just had a quick breakfast, made sandwiches, and ate dinner out. But the kitchen in the Lodge cabin was stocked with pots and pans, so you could cook a meal. There is no Wifi there and cell service is spotty, which was great for us, but others might not find that helpful. The showers were compact, but wonderful! With several people, you need to watch hot water use. Tiffany and David were wonderful hosts. They got back to us in a timely manner and provided us with information on trails in the area and other sights. We hope to stay there next July when we attend the Centrum Jazz Festival again!
Great location if visiting Port Townsend and Olympic peninsula. A quiet place in the woods. Both cabins were very clean and comfortable.
These cabins were completely charming and a lovely escape into the woods—felt far away while still less than 10 minutes from Port Townsend's downtown. We didn't have a chance to use the fire ring, but it looked great. Would definitely stay again! The honeymoon cabin is a bit small and has a curtain rather than a door to the bathroom, so keep that in mind if you're doubling up in there.
VRBO software would not accept my second payment. I spent close to 5 hours trying to resolve this. Nothing to do with the host. Everything to do with VRBO
The cabins were lovely, efficient and quiet. It is not super evident but there is no wifi and no cell service if you have Verizon. This makes unplugging easier but makes it difficult to do anything else.
Our family of four had a wonderful stay at the cabins. The hosts have outfitted the cabins and their clearing with all you’d need and everything was easy to find in each cabin thanks to clear instructions. The property was clean, quiet and private and a great place to enjoy some quality time in the woods with family. Would recommend and return.
The property was perfect for a Port Townsend visit with family. My mother in law stayed in one cabin and my family of 3 in the other. My 6 year old spotted an owl swooping for prey, helped a cross down grass, and listened to coyotes at night. We appreciated the time to unplug (there is no Wi-Fi and we couldn’t get signal) in a cozy, well-equipped cabin. Very comfortable pillows, linens, and blankets!
This experience was absolutely amazing. Very clean, bright, comfortable and so peaceful. These cabins were absolutely perfect! An amazing place to relax and recharge.
Our family had such a great stay at the cabins. We loved the surrounding area and the access to several trails. We were grateful for the covered porches, the picnic table area, the beautiful lawn to play, and that the trees were cut back so that we had an established area on their beautiful property. All the beds were comfortable and clean. The family peacock was so cool! We love spending as much time in Port Townsend as possible, so the close proximity to either drive or bike to town was such a bonus for us. We hope to stay again soon!
