Cabin with ocean views, minutes from Acadia and Bar Harbor

The view was beautiful. The property is private and quiet. It was a true cabin experience with necessary wi-fi if you plan on working remotely. Everything was very clean upon arrival. We did not do much cooking but everything you need to prepare a meal is available. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone who does not need a/c on hot humid days. My husband also enjoyed using the wood burning stove to heat the cabin on a couple of nights it was a little cool.Location is just a short drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia. We took advantage of the Island Explorer at the Gateway Center on our first trip to Acadia. We also took the 30 minute plane ride available by the airport. Very much recommend!!There are only two things that would have improved our stay minutely...1. Access to the beach. 2. Washer and dryer available to guesthouse. With that being said, there is a laundromat in Bar Harbor.

Just as described in listing. Nice spot, close to town but far enough out to be private. Cabin is older but well maintained and cozy with a fire going in the wood stove.The cabin is a nice reminder of simpler times.

House was perfect! Exactly as described and had everything we needed. Close to the Park , extremely comfortable for both us and our adventurous dog. The addition of a wood burning stove was very welcome when the temperature dipped . All communications and check in were super easy - looking forward to returning next year... thanks for helping us have a terrific , well needed vacation

Location to bar harbor was prime, 10 minutes away and quite nights, Acadia 5 minutes away and still has that cabin feeling with all amenities

The location was excellent, quiet and peaceful. It was also great to look out at the bay.

We just got back from a week long stay at the Baycliff cabin and it was lovely. We had our pup with us(very pet friendly)Kevin was great to communicate with. We got into the area a little earlier than check in time and he was quick to accommodate us with an early check in. The grounds are beautiful and the proximity is very close to the town of Bar Harbor, the restaurants, shops, excursions and Acadia Park,supermarket,etc. Beds are made, towels are stocked, plenty of pots,pans,plates,utensils and a wood stove for the chilly nights we had. I’m a bird watcher and was able to do a bit of that right from the property. Definitely recommend Baycliff for your stay in Maine. Kevin is a top notch host!

College roommates taking a fall long weekend break to do some hiking in the Acacia national Forest, cottage is close by everything, and quaint and comfortable

We loved this little cabin! It had everything we needed to be comfortable, and the location was great; it was close to everything we wanted to do but still far enough away to be quiet and peaceful in the evenings. The view from the dock was gorgeous! Our hosts were very accommodating and quick to respond to any questions/requests. We would definitely stay here again!

The house is described accurately. It is tucked away in beautiful wooded area that overlooks the water. It is in a great location, close enough to be convenient to Bar Harbor and Acadia, but far enough out that you aren’t dealing with traffic or congestion. We took our dog with us and the trees surrounding the house was a lot of fun to play ball with him in.

Extremely quiet location (aside from the falling acorns), with beautiful views & sunrises. Property is as described & owner very responsive. Check-in/out was a breeze. Really enjoyed our visit.

The stay was awesome, Kevin is a great host, definitely looking forward to staying here again
