Cabin w/ Fire Pit, Views & BBQ: 18 Mi to Moab!

Very quiet and the star gazing was amazing!

The view of the sunrise and sunset from this property are incredible. If you’re comfortable staying a bit outside of Moab to have more privacy and dark skies, this is your spot. My husband and I loved it!

We had a great experience staying in this adorable cabin. The drive up was beautiful on a newly paved road. The other cabin on the property was not being used so we had a lot of privacy. You may not have as much privacy if it is being used because they are fairly close together and when you are on the balcony it faces the other cabin.The cabin was well stocked with everything that we needed. It had a rustic feel and was decorated perfectly. We had just a few little issues. Nothing that would prevent us from staying again though. We could not get the ceiling fan to come on in the upstairs bedroom but the host did provide a big fan that we used. You definitely need a ceiling fan to circulate the air in hot summer months. The refrigerator was dirty upon our arrival. There was a spill of some sort and little crumbs of food on the shelves inside. The upstairs living room was very dusty. Again, these things would not deter us from staying here. A cleaning fee is charged so I think the cleaning company just needs to put a little more attention to detail.This was a very nice property that we used as a home base while exploring the parks. It served our needs nicely. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Peaceful and relaxing

The views were beautiful. Quiet and clean. Perfect for a getaway. The owners were quick to respond to any questions. I would would book again if i came back.

Private, drive to cabin was a bit far from town with four kids. Communication with host was great. Cabin was clean.

I've normally stayed in town but this time tried staying in this cabin. I wasn't sure how it would be but I can say without any reservations that this was an amazing place to stay. 5***** for sure.

A little outside of downtown Moab, this cabin is a real gem. Cooler temps. Quiet except for birds. Immaculately clean. Well stocked. Excellent communication with owner. Will absolutely return soon!

If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing place to stay, well you can’t do any better than here. The view of the La Sal mountains, well what can I say. It was beautiful. I would stay here again anytime.

Had a great time at the cabin. Nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of town but still get there easily. It was very relaxing.

There are not enough words to describe our stay. It far exceeded our expectations. We were backpackers in our younger days and usually spent a week deep in the mountains. This was like backpacking with all the amenities of civilization. The place is tranquil and peaceful, yet walking and hiking are available outside the door. Elizabeth has a wealth of information about the area and loves sharing. About two dozen deer came every night to graze right outside the cabin. We visited Bryce NP and Canyonlands during our 5 day stay and hiked and climbed in Arches NP daily. We would come back in a heartbeat, hopefully next year. We will not look for any other place to stay. We sat on the porch every sunset and got up early in the morning to see the stars and full moon.

The home was comfortable, clean, and had beautiful views of the mountains. There’s plenty of space outside for kids to play. It’s secluded and peaceful.

Thanks so much for the stay! The place is on the La Sal scenic loop and it was gorgeous up there. The cabin was cozy and convenient to town, about a 15 minute drive up. I would much rather have the peace and beauty of the mountain than being in town. Definitely was worth it! It’s an easy 30 minute drive to Arches and about an hour to Canyonlands, but you won’t find anything better that’s closer unless you camp.

We loved our stay! The cabin was cozy, peaceful, and incredibly quiet—just what we needed. The views were stunning, and it was the perfect base for exploring the nearby parks, Goblin Valley, and Leprechaun Canyon. Our pups loved it too! We can’t wait to come back.

Comfortable, beautifully built, but only one bathroom assessed down very steep stairs. Open concept does not lend any privacy. Tv which is upstairs can be heard throughout. Kitchen not well equipped i.e. no oven proof dishes or bowls.

Great cottage tucked in the foot hills of the La Sal Mountain range outside Moab. Wonderful porches & incredible night skies too. It offers the convenience of being not to far from Moab but with cooler temperatures and far less hustle & bustle than staying in Moab proper. Highly recommend it!

Lovely accommodations and peaceful area. It was nice to get away from the tourists and have a nice quiet retreat. Cabin was very clean and had all we needed to be comfortable. I very much recommend if you want a peaceful cabin stay

Great cabin!

We had a wonderful time. The owners were wonderful to work with and took care of every detail. The house was clean, organized, and comfortable. There was enough space for us to relax and enjoy every minute. It was wonderful being across the road from the lake as it allowed us to enjoy hours in the water and sun. We spent most every night on the porch or by the firepit. Truly an enjoyable experience.

We very much enjoyed our stay and privacy vs staying in Moab. The views were amazing. There is one cabin near but not that close your on top of each other. Definitely would stay here again.

This is our 2nd year staying here and definitely won’t be the last. We love the location of the cabin and the secluded atmosphere. It is fully stocked with necessities you might forget! This is perfect if you take your side by side as it connects to many trails!

Excellent location with beautiful views. Very quiet and peaceful location. Only two rental properties so very private. Enjoyed very much just sitting out in the porch with morning Sun.
