There are more hiking trails and waterfalls in the local area than I could possibly name, but to start, within an hour drive there is Table Rock, Devil’s Fork, Keowee Toxaway State Park, Paris Mountain State Park, Dupont State Recreational Forest, and the Blueridge Parkway. After a day of hiking, enjoy one of many wineries, breweries, distilleries, or even meaderies in the area! We love that the proximity to so many local attractions brings this home many repeat visitors. But whether it is your first time, or a repeat visit, we can’t wait to host you!
We booked this cabin last minute for a laid back birthday celebration and it was perfect. The front screen porch is amazing, but the best part was the kitchen. The gas stove was very nice and the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and utensils that made cooking all weekend easy! I think we only left the cabin once! Such a quick easy drive from Charlotte too, we would definitely stay again!
Great location.
We spent two nights here. The cabin is as described. Very quiet, woods setting, plenty of room. Beds are comfortable and this is just a cozy cabin. The driveway is very steep, but it is paved and not super long, we were in Honda Pilot and didn’t have any trouble, Nice screened front porch and deck across full length of the house. Inside everything was very clean. We were in town for a wedding at Pretty Place and it was a short drive, I highly recommend renting this cabin. No issues!!
The property was very clean and convenient to the golf courses we were playing. Thank you for a great experience!
Loved this place. Needed a short getaway, wanted something quiet and peaceful and this property was all that and a lot more. It's just beautiful, really. And so thought through.. Loved the bird-feeders, enjoyed watching all sorts of birds stopping by for a quick bite :) Hope to be back sometime soon. P.S. Special thanks to Marissa - the Manger, for being very responsive and super helpful!
Great spot if you want peace and quiet.
Very clean, more like a home than a cabin. Everything was just wonderful. The only thing I would change, would be to put mats in the bathtubs, as an elderly person who has had a few falls, in the shower. I’m sure this has something to do with germs, I put a hand towel on the tub floor and it worked well. Everything else was so beautiful and we just loved staying there. We will go back I am sure.
Property was great and we enjoyed it very much.
Great property, nice relaxing cabin, I highly recommend.
This peaceful, private getaway is up on a steep hill far removed from any noises that might pass on the road below. We visited when the fall colors filled the quiet woods, but I can only imagine how lovely it would be with the spring birdsongs. I only gave it 4 stars for check-in because I had a little trouble maneuvering the lockbox , but that's probably my own fault. The house was rustic, uncluttered, and meticulously clean. The large screened-in porch is perfect for quiet reflection or visiting. I would certainly stay here again!
We had a very good experience!! I would stay again.
Great little place
Secluded house, beautiful property. Not too far but not too close to major developments. Great stay.
My wife and I stayed here for a couple of days while in town. The property owner was great to deal with and the house was just what we needed. Nestled in the woods with no close neighbors and a pretty trail up to the ridge, it was perfect for our dog. She had fun getting to know “Cupcake” the barn cat. Would recommend!
