Enjoy the long one-mile trail through woodland to the vintage cabin which is nestled amongst towering red and white pines on a bluff overlooking the main body of beautiful Woman Lake where you will love the breathtaking sunsets! This setting is truly what up-north living is all about! Woman Lake has been named by National Geographic as one of the Ten Most Beautiful Lakes in the World with its gorgeous scenery and pristine water alive with fish, ducks, eagles, and loons!

The cabin has a full kitchen and room to spread out during your stay. The remodeled cabin features three bedrooms and extra sleeping on the far side of the cabin next to the cozy cedar porch. The master bedroom has a queen log bed with view of the lake. The second bedroom has a bunkbed and a twin bed. The additional sleeping space also has another bunk and twin. The cabin can comfortably sleep six adults plus several children. We have added air conditioning for your comfort on those super hot summer days.

Wooden stairs take you down to the dock for swimming, boating, fishing, and sunning. On the shore is the dock with electric available and a boat lift for your use. After a long day of boating, fishing, playing or resting, there is space for sitting around a fire right on the edge of this beautiful lake.

At the beginning of the driveway is the historic Mule Lake Store, and a quick seven miles brings you into the quaint town of Longville for shopping, Frosty's ice cream cones, and the famous Wednesday Turtle Races! Or you can hop into your boat and boat to Longville via Broadwater Bay and Girl Lake. The cabin is also in close proximity to at least 15 major area lakes! It's a great place to relax, go boating and fishing, and playing water sports, or to just rest, read a book, enjoy the beautiful scenery while sipping icy sweet tea! The area towns are great places such as Longville, Hackensack, and Walker to go for wonderful shopping, antiquing, and yummy eateries.

The water at the cabin is well water that is refreshing, clean and clear. If you are a nature lover, there is room to roam and enjoy nature walks.

We (Larry and Wendy) are your hosts. Upon retirement, we thought it would be wonderful to share with others our beautiful Woman Lake property. We have loved this place for our entire married life. We have raised our kids here and have had many men's fishing trips and ladies' sewing retreats here. We wish to share this beautiful, peaceful place with you as well!

Please share a little bit about yourself when you are booking with us so that we can best help your stay to be a wonderful vacation to remember!

Boys annual fishing getaway. Grandpa, two sons and grandson. Cabin is comfortable and clean. Slope to lake is steep but stairs are well designed and very easy up and down. Lake homes on right and left are well spaced apart so cabin is really isolated and quiet. Only issue we had was with the boat lifts. We had a Ranger 2080 which is very heavy with a deep V design and would not fit on any of the two boat lifts available on the two docks. However most fishing boats would be just fine. Shoreline does get hit with W and NW wind waves. Women Lake is a great fishery and we were not disappointed. Most of the walleyes and smallmouth bass were caught at dusk/dark up and down the cabin shoreline. Even caught a walleye right off the dock. Great cabin for a fishing outing or just solitude and relaxing. Hosts Larry and Wendy were next door and very accommodating.

Nice quiet lake cabin with everything you need. Beautiful red pines, clear water, and space to spread out. Bring a boat if you have one to explore further.

This is the second summer we’ve stayed here. We liked it and Woman lake so much we came back this summer! Wendy and Larry are great hosts. You can tell they really care for the place as they are always looking to improve the experience and cabin. The drive way has been paved and AC added to the cabin since last year. Another bonus is their neighbor no longer has a rooster. One thing we did change from last summer was to make sure to be around on a Wednesday for the turtle races in Longville. Fun time and we would recommend trying to fit it into any stay in the area.

Stayed 4 days and docked the boat for fishing every day. Right in the middle of the fishing action, easy to come home for lunch, boat lifts and battery charging power provide peace of mind overnight. Every view of the house is of the lake. Owners are very personable and are right next door for help if needed. New driveway and air conditioner show the care that the owners have for their perfect location and setup.

Larry & Wendy are a very sweet couple. They just want your stay to be comfortable and peaceful. They have a very impressive piece of property. Larry will give you a quick tour. So, you have a good understanding of the full property. Its a clean cabin that is large enough for any family visit. A doc at the bottom of the hill that gives way to a full view of Womans Lake. Loons, bald eagles and other water fowl not seen much in the T.C...Its a very clear lake. We struggled finding or getting fish to bite. There is nothing bad to say. Enjoy, Steve
