Newly remodeled quaint log cabin nestled in the forest. Relax by the soothing heat of the wood burning stove on those cool mountain nights or enjoy a wooded outdoor fire cooking s’mores and making memories with your family. One block from the Box Canyon Trailhead (Island Park Community Trail) for your hiking, mountain biking and/or fishing adventures and 35 miles to the Yellowstone National Park entrance. But why battle the crowds in Yellowstone when there are so many beautiful attractions much closer including Harriman State Park 5 miles south hosting 26 miles of non-motorized trails and great fly fishing opportunities on the Henry’s Fork of the Snake River. Mesa Falls, Big Springs and Sheep Falls are additional attractions not to be missed while staying here. Trouthunter is located one mile south for your dining pleasures and fly shop/guide service needs.

After your day of recreating, catch some shut eye in the master bedroom with a vaulted ceiling and a California King Bed. The second bedroom is just as soothing with a queen bed and a single lofted bunk. Both rooms have new Sealy mattresses. Linens provided.

Read a book on the chaise in the living room enjoying the wooded scenery out the window and fold down the sofa to make a cozy nest for the kids as they watch a DVD. Kitchen is equipped with the necessities including dishes, cutlery, water and wine glasses, a coffee maker (with Coffee beans), toaster oven and kettle (with tea). One bathroom with newly renovated shower and laundry to make clean up easy to prepare for another day of R & R in the Greater Yellowstone. Towels, shampoo, conditioner, body/hand/dish soap, laundry detergent provided.

The outside part of the property is just as inviting. A large outside deck with grill, table and chairs provide a relaxing atmosphere to dine with your family and friends while recapping the days memories and tomorrows journeys. Sitting by the fire making smore's in the forested firepit (campfire firewood not provided) under the night sky is always a crowd pleaser.

What a gem! Quaint cottage that had everything we needed for a fantastic vacation. The cabin was spotless and very well equipped. Conveniently located and near a great restaurant at the Angler's Inn. Would definitely stay here again. Host was wonderful at communicating.

Our stay was wonderful. Clean cabin and surrounding area. Quiet, safe and beautiful. The wood stove was needed in the first part of our stay. Kitchen had everything we could think of. The bathroom is modern and super clean. We thought we were in the perfect spot to explore and then come 'home' to eat.

This Cabin was just what we needed for our Vacation. From only being 30 min from yellowstone to having the best places to eat right down the road. This place is so roomy and the outdoors feel you get here is like no other. If i had it to do all over id be sure to have this cabin in the trip. The deck is perfect for sitting down and just taking it all in and laying back chillinv after a long day of hiking . I was little alarmed when we first walked in by not having ac , but let me tell you we was there for the hottest times and with all the trees around and fans it never got uncomfortable in fact is was always just right . Coming from the midwest with humidity and heat was expecting something different. At nights soon as sun goes down temps drop to upper 40s to dry low 50s, day time expect highs mid 80s but no humidity and this cabin will stay between 67 to 78 and feel cooler then our house at 70 here in Kentucky. We was ever so pleased at how well furnished this cabin was from towels to dishes youll have everything you and your family can imagine or need . We loved this cabin and it made our 2 week yellowstone trip The best it ever could be . Such a quiet area and so laid back it is in perfect location to get to west gate away from all the crazy. For a family i couldnt imagine anyone staying anywhere else but right here. Loved having rooster to pet and love while havinv my coffee every morn as well . This place is the best by far ive stayed and will anytime i go out west .

We traveled the whole month of August, staying in several rentals. This was our favorite. Our host, Jodi, was very kind and accommodating. The cabin was very clean, the atmosphere was relaxing and we spent time floating the river, hiking on trails along the river straight out of the cabin and also sitting in lounge chairs in the shade under the trees reading. It was a perfect place to Stop and Smell the Roses ( so ta speak) Thanks Jodi, it was perfect!

This cabin was great! We were expected to arrive late, and the check-in process was a breeze! The cabin was so cute and just the right size! The beds were so comfortable, the location was secluded, but not so far away from West Yellowstone that we couldn't drive in to Yellowstone each day. We would definitely stay here again if our travels take us back to Yellowstone!

This older log cabin was nicely remodeled for comfort and appliances. The owners were very hospitable and gave us our privacy while being easily available, particularly, when we accidentally locked ourselves out! They were hard working , friendly and down-to-earth hosts.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Cabin in the Woods! It was perfect for our needs. It is a charming, cozy cabin. The kitchen is well stocked. The bathroom is very nice. The bed was comfortable. There are a few things that I would change…the lighting in the bathroom is very dim. Brighter lights bulbs would be appreciated. There are no drawers in the bedroom to put clothes, that would be a nice addition. And finally, even though the cabin is in a remote area, I would have liked window coverings on the windows on the doors. That being said we would stay here again given the chance. We would recommend this cabin to family and friends.

The cabin was very nice and was in a quiet wooded area. I saw a moose in the backyard the first night I was there, which was a real treat! The host was nice and replied quickly when communicating with her.
