Very clean and spacious. Close to everything in Grayling.
We checked in on Sunday afternoon. By Monday we were the only 3, the wife, our dog Theo and myself. Highway close, but overall peaceful with beautiful scenery alone the AuSable River.
Stayed Wed - Sun and couldnt have had a better time. Big cabin, easy access to town, nice grill and patio table outside. Great place and we will definitely be staying again.
Perfect location to the Manistee and Ausable rivers! Extremely close to downtown Grayling. Clean and quiet location for us and and our dog!
Pleasant cabin very sound proof. Don’t hear the road from inside cabin. Have to walk through woods to get to river but great spot to watch birds. Nice fire pit. Nice east kayak trip along the Ausable.
Really like this cabin stay. was very clean and very good location to get around, would come back and also its pet friendly. Would recommend it...!
Had a nice stay at Finleys cottages with our dog. Owners are very nice and the property is nice, situated right along the Au Sable River.
Quiet little place to stay that is dog friendly. Sometimes we run into problems with our Great Dane being too big for pet friendly VRBOs. That was not the case as Findlay’s. They even had a little doggie poop bag station for us. It’s quiet and close to other places we were able to take our dogs. Highly suggest the trails in Hartwick Pines, (15 minutes away), the beach at Mission Point and all the pup friendly breweries in Traverse City (about an hour away from Findlays.) Everything at the cabin was clean and as described. Great little cabin for a weekend get away up north. Host were on site and helpful with any questions we had. They even let us check in early with no problems.
EVERYTHING was perfect and the owners couldn't have treated us any better!!!!! Will absolutely go back!!!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again in a heartbeat. The owners are lovely and had a warm welcome waiting for us in our cabin upon arrival. Such a charming setting just a few steps from the river. Simply Lovely!
Very nice cabins and property. Brenda and Phil are awesome owners of Finleys Cabins, Very nice people and very accommodating with anything you need. Will and have. Recommended . We would love to come back again! They are also pet friendly ? Love it here!
Cabin exactly as described, fully furnished and even unexpected supplies provided. Check in super easy, hosts are great, property is on the river with nice trails around the property. This is a great jumping off point for hitting the river, the trails, the lakes, and etc.. Cabin was super clean and good eats in the downtown area.
This is the place to stay with the best hosts, clean rooms, location and easy access to all the fun outdoor activities in the area.
We were welcomed with a loaf of freshly made bread, what a nice touch. We stayed in Cabin D. The beds were comfortable, the cabin was nice and clean, had lots of kitchen equipment, and several lovely places to enjoy a meal or coffee on the property by the water. My daughter and I walked around and spotted wildlife and edible plants while my husband waded in the river. We stayed in the spring so it was cold at night and hot during the day, the AC and heat both worked really well. We walked over to the food truck in the parking lot of the outfitters next door for dinner, but there's also a diner, ice cream, and great thrift store on the strip near the cabin.
Brenda and Phil were fantastic hosts. The cabin was well furnished and very inviting. The view of the river is beautiful and the location was perfect. Seeing the deer and the turkeys was a bonus!
The cabin was super cozy and clean with full of kitchen stuff. This made us so comfortable. The property has excellent view right off AuSable river and well maintained for any occasions. The owner was so friendly and informative. I will definitely come back again
