Columbus, Indiana
Beautiful cabin built by a local woods craftsman. Artistry is shown in the details of every room along with paintings from local artists. Enjoy the expansive fireplace which is the focal point of the living room. The extra large deck allows for playing many yard games while food is prepared on the large charcoal grill. Enjoy relaxing mornings with coffee in the hot tub, or a glass of wine at night, gazing at the beautiful stars that only shine this bright away from the lights of the city. Enjoy hikes on the property, a campfire, or travel to Story for wonderful meals, libations and entertainment. Great weekend get away to enjoy all things Brown County has to offer. Columbus and Bloomington are well within travel distance as well.
It was a very peaceful place. The owner of the property was so kind. And really treated us well. Would recommend this place to anyone. The nicest place we have stay at in brown County. We enjoy taking trips down there and by far the best most comfortable place we have stayed in.
This cozy cabin was exactly what my family and I needed for the Thanksgiving holiday! It provided an inviting space to relax, play, and enjoy each other’s company. Our daughter loved the toy amenities and, us parents, loved the hot tub in the brisk evenings. Great location, just a quick scenic drive to explore Brown County State park. Will consider visiting again in the future. Thank you!
Cozy fireplace, fire pit, and hot tub. Only one bathroom, but is spacious enough for 2 people to get ready. Plenty of books, puzzles, and movies to keep you entertained. Beautiful setting. Highly recommended.
Our family enjoyed staying in this cabin! The area was very nice and the outdoor deck and hot tub were very relaxing. We also enjoyed all the board games stocked in the house. When booking, I would have liked to know that while there are three bedrooms, they aren't private. The bedroom set up made getting our 3 year old to sleep before everyone else a bit challenging. I would also have liked to know that the one bathroom was downstairs while all the bedrooms were upstairs. These things aren't a big deal, but would have been helpful to know when planning a trip with children.
The cabin was as desctand very cozy. We visited Nashville, Brown County State Park, Bloomington and Parke County covered bridges on the way home.
Nice location
We loved staying here! It was a great getaway and loved playing games with the kids. It was very cozy. We weren't sure what to do with trash so we just tied it up, but other than that it was an absolutely wonderful place perfect for families!
This is a lovely cabin a little ways away from Brown County State Park and within easy driving distance of Nashville. It has a cozy interior and a nice hot tub. The exterior is a bit dated, but don't let that deter you. If you enjoy a rustic feel and something that's almost like camping, but you want an actual house to stay in with all the comforts, this is a great place to stay.
We absolutely had a wonderful time. The cabin looks like a fairy house. The inside is so charming and cozy. The movies, books, and games were a treat. The hot tub was a nice addition.
The cabin was so nice. It is in a peaceful neighborhood out in the woods. Decorated very quaintly and comfortable. We were there for our daughter’s graduation from IU. It is about 40 minutes away, but we were able to avoid the crowds and come back and relax and spend time with family. The bedrooms are set up that there is not a lot of privacy, but it worked for us. We had breakfast on the front deck and listened to the birds. We would definitely stay there again.
This place was everything we wanted and needed. The owner was great to work with and the cabin is far enough out that it’s nice and peaceful but close enough to town for those who want to shop. Would recommend this cabin to anybody who like the outdoors
The Jones Family had a wonderful stay thank you for letting us use your cabin. Will come again in the spring!
The cabin was very clean. Stayed over the weekend. No cell service, which was nice, but wifi allowed to text. Was a nice getaway. Close enough to Nashville but far enough away to be secluded. Very cozy setting.
Overall really relaxing!
Woild highly recommedet to others...absolutely
Was happy with the property and amenities. Would recommend for a family stay.
Very cute little cabin. Enjoyed our stay while myself and my husband got married. Our children enjoyed their stay as well.
The cabin was nice, and the location is great! The beds were small and not real comfortable! The air conditioning didn't work great and on the second night we had to sleep downstairs because the bedrooms upstairs were too hot. We enjoyed the stay and the rest of the cabin.
The location is great for visiting Nashville or the state park. Hot tub was nice. Hard to balance temperature between upstairs and down.
We just needed to get away and enjoy a relaxing time and this cabin was just what we needed. We had a little trouble with the navigation from the site but once we found the place, we had a wonderful relaxing time. Thank you
Property was soo peaceful!!!
The cabin was very nice. We stayed with 2 other couples celebrating a 50th birthday and a 46th birthday. The cabin was perfect for our needs and very comfortable. The funniest thing that we all got a kick out of was the “glory hole” in the back bedroom that gives you a birds eye view of the toilet below you! Very nice and we enjoyed it very much!
Perfect place to getaway. All the amenities you need to enjoy time home away from home. Cozy and welcoming. Very comfortable beds. Plenty of seating inside and out to enjoy talking (but big TVs available if thats your thing) Close to all the great trails: Brown County State Park, Stone Ridge, Laura Hare. We want to come back soon!
I would stay here again!
