'Bristle Cone' Fairplay Cabin w/ Hot Tub

What an adorable place! Tucked into the trees so it feels more secluded than it actually is. The sauna was a fun experience and the highlight was stargazing in the hot tub. Lots of thoughtful amenities like heated throws and towel racks. The one issue was a hiccup with entry instructions. We arrived on a holiday and the management company (Evolve) had previously been extremely quick to respond, so I think they were closed. Highly recommend this place!!! Just make sure you receive entry instructions and contact Evolve during normal business hours if you need them.

They have thought of everything. Surrounded by wildlife and peace. Such a beautiful cabin and location.

The stay was practically perfect. From the hot tub and fireplaces to the random wildlife visitors we received daily. It was so quiet and peaceful with everything you need.

We loved our time here. This was the cleanest place we’ve ever stayed at. The bed was very comfy and the heated touches throughout the house were awesome. The cabin was stocked with everything you could need. Beautiful views at the cabin and in the surrounding area. Pika trail had amazing views and was right down the road. Owner was very responsive and helpful. We’ll be back again with our kids!

It was absolutely perfect. Can’t wait to go back! The cabin is situated in a beautiful area- secluded and peaceful. It was tidy and had all the amenities we could think of. We loved using the hot tub after long days of skiing. Well stocked cabinets- did not need to worry about purchasing pans or utensils. Really, the perfect place. We highly recommend!

This owner thought of everything! You have every hookup you need for any kind of electronic you'd want. Plus every heating option for winter time. The floors, the bed and throws all over the house to heat my little cold butt up. Exceptional! It actually came up to, what is the actual day I need to be back at work.. screw it I can work from here. Let's extend our stay.My only issue, were the stairs. But you have to keep in mind I'm handicap so it put a bit of a damper. Other than that, I've never felt so much at home in a peaceful relaxing location. Even had an opportunity to see moose. And the Chipmunks and birds can actually feed out of your hand.Be wise and rent from this guy at least once. You will never forget it.Thanks again

This cabin was amazing we had a wonderful time. The weather was perfect we got rain and the cabin was in a great location! The road was a little rough had a ton of holes but just go slow you’ll be fine.

Great place to stay if you want to get away. Very secluded. The drive from Fairplay to the house is about 15 minutes. The house is very clean and super stocked with things. Great kitchen.Plenty of linens and towels. Also the house has a lot of technology built in. Heated bathroom floors and heated towel racks, remote controlled lights and plenty of heated blankets and throws. Hot tub and sauna were excellent. So was the horse shoe pit! The house is smaller than the photos. Each floor is about the size of a small apartment. So, very cozy! Two great decks that we enjoyed! Spent a lot of time outside. Great communication with the host! We defiantly liked this place.

Really beautiful secluded location. We enjoyed snowshoeing, sledding and building forts on the property. The house was immaculate and very well equipped. Lots of unexpected bonuses- heated bathroom floors and towel bars, boot heater, heated blankets, heated beds (notice a theme?). They had a well-stocked kitchen and about every kitchen appliance a person could need. The welcome basket was a bonus! Overall, just a wonderful home away from home. One of the best VRBOs we’ve stayed at. We will be back!
