It’s really a good experience.

This house was very nice but the views were spectacular! Not to mention the multiple families of deer that came to nearby properties was special! We also really enjoyed many jacuzzi and fire pit evenings. The town of Murphy was also very conveniently located close to the property with some nice breweries and restaurants.

We had such a wonderful time celebrating a birthday here with friends. The house is lovely and had plenty of space for everyone to spend time together comfortably. The highlight for us was definitely the outdoors—the mountain views are wonderful, and we spent most of our time enjoying the pool and hot tub. Definitely got lucky with some out-of-season warm, sunny weather.I also really appreciated the host's communication. Scott was responsive and helpful throughout the entire process, which made planning easy. It was a fantastic spot for a getaway, and we would love to come back!

Views are marvelous! Heated pool and hot tub were delightful. House was beautifully furnished and kitchen was well-stocked with tools and spices. Excellent communication with property owner.

Had a very relaxing week hanging by the pool enjoying the mountain view. Nice house with plenty of room and lots of windows to enjoy the scenery. My grandson loved seeing the deer that showed up every day! It's located on a dead end road, so it's very peaceful.

This was a nice place to stay. The pool was a hit with everyone. The town of Murphy has a great riverwalk for your dog family too. I would definitely book again.

Our second visit and the view over the lake draws us in every time. Comfy deck furniture and lots of pool toys. Location convenient to groceries, restaurants and outdoor activities. Don't miss the donuts at Rare Bird Emporium.

My whole family loves the property. It was the whole package with the gorgeous spacious cabin, secluded with amazing views, pool, hot tub & games. Plus there was plenty of room for everyone to enjoy together as well as gazebos for quiet time to ourselves. The town of Murphy was great with cute shops and convenient places for all needs.

The view is amazing, the pool and hottub were the perfect temperature. Check in was easy. Scott was great with communication. The kitchen wqs well stocked with dishes to use. The beds were very comfortable. It is a great place to get away with the family and relax.

Beautiful home. Beds and pillows comfy. Household staples like dish soap and hand soap provided. Scott checked in regulary to make sure we were comfortable. Only concern is with 7 exit doors there are no safety latches for littles that they can't reach. As a parent and grand parent it always stays in the back of your head what can happen if you were sleeping. Definitely recommend the heated pool. Also the bunk room is like a hideaway in the basement and my two teenage boys were very let down to find out they were hid away downstairs away from everyone. We didn't find that out until I received the check in instructions the day before. I would definitely book and stay again. The town of Murphy is super cute and make sure to check out Yogi's for dinner. By far one of the best places we have stayed at.

My husband and I really enjoyed our weeklong stay at Catus Cabin. The overall views and sunsets are truly amazing! The home is very nice! We grilled, swam in the private pool, hung out by the firepit, saw so much wildife, and just chilled. It was perfect! We also went into downtown Murphy, NC for some local eats and shopping. A great family vacation, with my son's and their families. Grandkids 4-ages 3-13 had a great time making memories in the pool, watching sunsets, counting deer, making s'mores and fishing locally. Will be back! Took off a star for wasps around poolstarwap
