The cabin was perfect! We loved the indoor fireplace and the firepit outside with stringlights that provided perfect lighting at night. We loved that when we came in, there were blankets folded for us and coffee for the kureg. It was in an amazing location for the lake and nearby trails. The host was so nice and made sure that we had an amazing stay. We will definitely be coming back!

Great spot for a lake getaway. The house was perfect for our family, we enjoyed the fire pit and Adirondack chairs every night. The dock was a huge plus, perfect for swimming and fishing. Everything was clean, kitchen stocked with all the dishes we needed, and checkin/out was easy. Would definitely stay again when visiting Lake Glenville!

The marketing data was a little vague that dock was on the other side of busy road, but we made it work. The views are great of the lake, the house is very nice and well kept. We spent most of our time on the covered porch. We would rent again.

I can’t give 5 stars as things weren’t quite as they appeared online but we still had an overall good time. We mostly enjoyed our time on the lake and had a wonderful time sightseeing in the area. The house is well renovated and quaint. The outdoor space is where we spent most of our time. The fire pit area is beautiful and the porch was a great place to relax. It’s pet friendly which does make it nice since it made it possible to vacation with our favorite furbaby. The reason I only gave 4 stars was even though I’m a pet lover I do not love the residuals of others pets. I found dog hair on the bedroom rug and on the kitchen cabinets as well as gnats stuck on the stove light. There were some mouse droppings in the clothes baskets by the dryer and by morning the kitchen counter. I also had to wipe down many Cobb webs along the ceilings and walls. Overall, I felt the level of cleanliness was subpar. I did do some cleaning and purchased mouse traps and had I had a vacuum I would have felt better. The driveway was much longer than the picture seemed, and another home is right beside it. You have to cross a very busy road to get to the dock and we weren’t able to leave our paddle boards on the dock due to theft earlier in the week of the owners kayaks, making a very laborious morning and evening pack up to get back to the property. The lake was very busy as well but it was a holiday weekend. All in all we did enjoy ourselves it just wasn’t exactly as I had envisioned it.

The perfect mountain cabin! We had such a great time at this property. The cabin was perfect for our family and dog. The living space was large enough to feel like we were on top of each other but not too big. The kitchen was well-equipped, and having laundry was key for our family after being outside all day. Having two bathrooms was also amazing for four people. Everything was clean and updated and exactly as pictured.

We visit the Cashiers/Glenville area at least once a year and have never stayed here before but will definitely stay here again. The place was beautiful with gorgeous views of the lake. It comfortably slept 4 adults with room for more. The porch was the perfect spot to watch the sunset. The properly manager was quick to respond and was so nice and accommodating. I definitely recommend staying at this home!

My husband and I took our 2 dogs up to the mountains for some quiet relief from the Florida heat. This place was perfect. Lots of open space, well equipped, nicely decorated and all the amenities you need. It’s right on the lake with a big dock on the northern part of the lake about 15 -20 minutes from the little town of Cashiers for shopping, dinner etc. Asheville airport is about an hour 15 and easy in and out, you are close to a Biltmore day trip and many nearby hiking, biking and nature fun. There is a marina Signal that rents boats by the hour, day or week, a little beach park close 2 minute drive to enjoy a lake swim. You have Highlands not too far 20-25 minutes for good dinner, shopping, etc. The house has a steep grade driveway with plenty of parking up top and a space below. Awesome firepit space above the driveway to hang at night. Great deck to sit out for coffee or dinner and perfect views of the lake. The dock is huge and 2 kayaks to enjoy on the beautiful Lake Glenville (ask for waiver before you go so you can get the lock code for the kayaks). We are frequent vacation renters in this area and we really loved this place. Things to think about:The dock is across the street and you need to walk or drive down the driveway then across the street, down steps, down a ramp to get to the dock, you need to be able to navigate this carefully so think about physical challenges or carting little kidsThe road you have to cross is a small 2 lane winding road and one of the only major roads around, so you do get big trucks and local traffic noise on the deck of the house at peak times

Our family of 4 always enjoys our time in Cashiers/Lake Glenville. The house is an easy drive into town and convenient to numerous trail heads in the area. It is the perfect size for 2 couples or a small family, it was clean and comfortable and the online pictures are a fair representation of the home. The property manager was responsive and easy to reach when we had questions, they even brought us a brand new iron and ironing board when we realized there was not one at the house. A few things to know, the driveway is steep and you must walk up and down it to access the dock (which is across a somewhat busy road), the porch has a nice view of the lake but there is road noise in the morning and during the day. The fire pit area is great and we were lucky enough to use it a few nights during our stay. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this cabin.
