Big Warm Hug of a Cabin! Luxury Linens, Best Coffee Station for Miles

Last minute trip to reconnect as a family and celebrate our daughter's birthday. We followed the advice of another reviewer and checked out The Blind Pelican. Delicious! We visited the neighboring farm to pet the baby alpacas, strolled through historical Apex, and had family game night by the fire. The highlight was the home itself! It was a home away from home for us. The house truly is a “Big Warm Hug” its stylish, cozy, clean, and well-equipped. Highly recommend!

Charming welcoming home in a lovely, wooded setting in a quiet neighborhood with nearby conveniences. Home is well equipped for individuals and families. Front screened in porch and rear deck are nice outdoor spaces. Nicely themed decorated bedrooms. Beds are comfortable. Excellent amenities. Host is very responsive, accommodating and helpful. Highly recommend.

Our family stayed here for thanksgiving. It was perfect! Great kitchen to cook the big meal! Comfy beds and towels! Highly recommended the cabin in a great neighborhood. We will be back!

The house was as advertised. Very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Nice quiet retreat away from the city. Barbara, the host, was great and made sure we we settled in well and had all we needed. Communication was quick and efficient if needed. Overall, a great place for us and we would come again.

Beautiful & Cozy cabin to stay , private drive surrounded with trees. Everything was well organised and We felt like stay at Smokey’s. Owner is very helpful and responsive.

We highly recommend this property! It is nestled in a very cool neighborhood. You get the feel of a cabin with all the trees, but you’re not out in the middle of nowhere. You can tell a lot of very nice renovations went into the cabin. It had all the amenities we needed and we were actually surprised at how well equipped the kitchen was (especially compared to other properties we’ve stayed at)! The owner checked in on us when we arrived to make sure all was ok. She is very easy to communicate with. We will definitely stay at this property again in the future!

Located inside an upscale neighborhood. Property comfortably accommodated all 7 adults w/3 rooms w/queen size beds and 2 rollaways. We all agreed that if we had a dream house it would be like this one. It is beautiful, extremely clean, private and safe property. Coordination with Host was quick and effortless. We all enjoy the stay very much and if ever return to this area, this will be our default stay. Thanks to Barbara and her son Little Dante!

The cabin was beyond expectations! The property is so clean inside and outside! Nice and quiet neighborhood, and is close to all kind of grocery stores and fast food restaurants. My family loved the place and already talked about coming back to it before we even left it! The property manager seems to be very nice and is easy to reach at anytime. She texted to check on us a couple times to make sure we didn’t need anything. Overall, the place is so clean and all appliances work great. You can’t beat this place. I highly recommend it!
