Description

Welcome to the Mountain Top Cabin, a two story cabin in Seward, Alaska. Situated on a secluded hilltop and nestled among towering spruce and hemlock, this cabin affords spectacular views of Exit Glacier and the surrounding mountains. The cabin is on a private lot that borders the Chugach National Forest. A covered deck with seating is attached to the cabin for soaking in the awe inspiring views.

The main floor features an open living room, dining room, and kitchen area. The living roomis well-appointed with beautiful leather furniture and satellite TV. The fully equipped kitchen includes an electric stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, and cooking utensils. The bathroom has a shower, toilet, towels, and hair dryer, as well as a washer and dryer.

The second floor features two bedrooms. The first bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed, dresser, two night stands and a cozy sitting area. The second bedroom includes a full size bed, a twin xl size bed, a dresser, night stand, and chair.

This cabin is equipped with both standard electricity and solar power. WiFi is provided for your convenience.

Outside the cabin is a fire pit, gas grill, and 7 cubic foot freezer for storing your fishing catch while in town. Plenty of parking is available onsite. A beautifully crafted cedar sauna with a changing room is also located next to the cabin to help you relax after a long day. The sauna is heated with a push button diesel fired stove.

We are located a short 10 minute drive from downtown Seward, where you will find the historic downtown area, the Alaska SeaLife Center, the small boat harbor, shopping, restaurants, deep sea fishing, whale watching, glacier viewing and much more.
