Beautiful Home w/ Spacious Deck, Hot Tub, Game Room, Pet Friendly - Porcupine Slopes

The home was beautiful and very comfortable. It was high enough on the mountain that we had snow around the property for our entire stay. The heat was easy to operate and the home was super clean. We are planning to come back next year. I highly recommend this home to anyone. Thank you.

The ambiance was amazong me and my hisband enjoyed our elopment and honeymoon we were given a cake upon arrival all the instructions were so simple to follow. It was so fun to see footprints in the morning from wildlife. Also the sunset from the masterbedroom was magical !

Property is well maintained, host responded quickly to any questions or needs. Beds are too firm, but that’s a matter of preference. Very nice area and house.

I really feel something should've been posted on the property about the high elevation. My husband and i had such trouble breathing and getting on and off the mountain was pretty treacherous which was scary. Other than that, it was beautiful

Great house. Hot tub was perfect for sunrises and coffee or late night star gazing. All was great but king mattress was VERY firm. Saw several moose next door!

Everything was great at the property. I love that. It was so far up in the mountains. It was really beautiful out there.

Our stay was great, easy to work with and no issues with the house! Enjoyed the stay and the space they shared with us!

Overall a very nice place. The house was very clean.The privacy was very nice as well as the views. Check in was very easy. We had a few things that we needed to contact the host about and they were very responsive and checked back on everything.Kitchen had all the basic items, plenty of dishes.

We appreciate the ease of booking with Second Home. It's our 2nd summer in a row using them. Porcupine Slopes was a nice vacation home- we appreciated the views, the hot tub, ample space, and the pet friendly policy. The drive up the mountain (about 4ish miles of unpaved roads) was a little rough, but we managed it with our 4x4 truck. Our favorite things to do in the area are closer to Breckenridge, and this house is a little farther away than anticipated. It's not a slight on the house (it was great!), but it is something to consider when booking. Fairplay and Alma are very charming small towns, especially this weekend with the annual Burro Days, and do have a lot to offer as well. When we come back, we will surely look to book another rental with Second Home. Thank you for the hospitality again!

Nice sized and clean

If your looking for a getaway in the mountains with peice and quiet and just surrounded by beauty this is the place

The cabin was easy to find and access. It’s very large and has a good view of the mountains and rising sun from the master bedroom’s balcony. My daughter and her family arrived a few days before my partner and I did. They enjoyed their stay. They were visited by a couple of playful foxes. Hiking is mainly on roads around private properties but we mainly wanted a restful retreat and escape from work, anyway. Management was very communicative and understanding. I had neglected to book our dogs because I thought my daughter had already done it. They made it easy to pay the pet fees after our arrival. I would definitely stay here again. Mike

The property was nice

For the most part we throughly enjoyed our stay. Only thing that was lower rating was how rough the last few roads were up to the cabin. It took its ware on us daily, but we love CO so much it didn’t stop us from going to explore. Don’t forget to bring a griddle or something to cook on as all the pans are bent and unable to cook on them. But if you’re cooking soup the pots are great! Something we will make better note of for next time ? Overall a fabulous vacation and nice pet friendly property.
