Beautiful cabin close to downtown Boone

The property was great I would stay here again!

Two bathrooms! Nice deck, attractive, great features. Needs new bbq grill grate.

We absolutely LOVED our stay in this cozy cabin! We enjoyed everything it had to offer!

Loved the knotty pine and wood floors and everything about the house. The games in the basement. Kitchen appliances and fully equipped. The deck on the lovely property. Comfortable beds and furniture. TVs and DVD player. We would have used the outdoor heater but it didn't have propane. The outdoor grill was not in good condition so did not get to use it.

Great location for hanging in the blowing rock / boone area. Property had all the touches needed for our stay. All well thought out by the owner.

The property was very peaceful, I loved the deck and we really didn't have to worry about anything as all we needed to bring was food. A fresh bag of coffee was even provided for us.

We absolutely loved our stay in this cozy cabin!

This was absolutely everything I was hoping for. Secluded location… as the description says there’s a steep road that leads to the cabin, but it is very doable unless there’s snow or ice. The cabin itself was perfect and had everything needed. Very comfortable bed (only tried downstairs) some of the neighbors down in the valley do love shooting their guns at 8am but to me that added to the charm of the location and nothing the owner can do anything about. Saw lots of wildlife

This cabin is exactly how it's described! Beautiful Cabin and not far from town. I loved how you felt like you are secluded away from the busy Boone town but not far from stores. We had snow come in early Saturday morning, which made this stay even more magical! The views from the porch are breath taking. Parking area was very nice and not hard to get turned in and parked. Drive up little steep but nothing major. Looking forward to another stay come spring!

The quality of the interior construction was amazing, really beautiful. Glad we brought the 4 wheel drive as the winter ice covered road was a challenge. We could not believe how nice the furnishings and interior was

Cozy cabin with everything we needed!

The cabin was great. Everything we need was there and it is close to a lot of attractions. We especially enjoyed the wood stove.

This is a great place to stay. The property was very clean and inviting. The hosts were very nice and welcoming and were easy to communicate with. We definitely recommend and will likely stay here again in the future.

All was fine with the cabin. It’s alittle too far up the mountain for old folk to get to. We had perfect weather and the view from the porch was pretty.

Beautiful place. Very clean. Enjoyed wine in the evening and coffee every morning on the deck with the company of deer and hummingbirds.

Beautiful Home.

Great cabin close to several areas. We spent time in Boone, Damascus VA, and Bristol TN. This was a perfect home base for 3 days. Enjoyed mornings and evenings on the porch. Everything in the cabin is as described. Joseph was a thoughtful host, keeping in touch the whole time.

It was a wonderful accomadatiin. A little challenging mountain roads but to be expected in the end, not far from town. Was able to go rafting and tubing. Saw deer right on the wooded property and enjoyed the visiting hummingbirds . A great place for our get awsy

This house was amazing in so many different ways! We saw so much wildlife and enjoyed the view! We really appreciated the consideration the host took for guests! Not only did they have a beautiful sitting area to enjoy to the scenery but they also have games, movies and all the necessities you could think of! We will definitely be returning to this lovely home away from home!

Beautiful cabin to enjoy the high country!

We spent a couple days here before Christmas with our boys and absolutely loved it! The house is so cozy and wonderfully decorated for Christmas. The kitchen is well stocked. Far enough out of town to feel like you’re secluded but close enough to enjoy all the things Blowing Rock & Boone have to offer. We were sad to leave!

I spent two nights at Mountain Mystique to visit with my son over the Thanksgiving holiday. I could not have asked for better accommodations! The cabin was very clean when we arrived and I felt at home immediately. The ambiance was sp very warm, and peaceful. I hope to return to Mountain Mystique within the year!

Great home with incredible communication. The owner was so nice and we extended an extra day. When in town for work at App State it is close and comfy.

Great location, cabin as described. Enjoyed sitting on deck with fire table going. Coffee maker did not work, French press broke when we tried to use it as an alternative. Big Branch precariously hanging over the deck. Yards/grounds are looking a little rough.

This house was a cozy, lovely place to stay. They had plenty of nice things to enjoy such as a grill, fireplace, porch lighting, tv access, full bath, and lots of kitchen amenities. My partner and I had the best time and would definitely recommend. The driveway was a Bit of a challenge at first but it’s was worth being up in the woods for.

Mountain Mystique was a perfect, quiet getaway near Boone. The town was only 15 minutes away, but we enjoyed being up high with nice view through the trees. Inside was well kept, comfortable and homey. Great base for our vacation.

It was peaceful, cozy, relaxing, just all around beautiful place to stay. Looking forward to staying in this beautiful cabin again in the future. Had everything you needed from the kitchen to the bathrooms. The grill was a plus for cooking out on a back deck. Love the rocking chairs and watching the hummingbirds feed.

My wife & I celebrated our 32nd Anniversary in this gem of a place. We thoroughly enjoyed unwinding here for a few days. Very clean and well maintained! clean
