'Beautiful 7 BR 5 Bath Log Home with a game room, Hot Tub, and Starlink internet

we Have been here the last four or five years with four generations for 4 and half months to 74. we had a great time with the family. We love that there are only a few cabins nearby. Ted and Mary are easy to work with. Every relaxing and a lot of room.

The host was very welcoming. Amenities was plentiful. Very beautiful and quiet.

House was just as described, very well stocked and large enough to accommodate 12 adults. host was easy to communicate with and the cabin is in a nice quit area.

Beautiful space! Perfect for a relaxing weekend get away (although we hope to stay longer next time)!

A cabin was very cozy and a remote area in the bedding was very comfortable. We enjoy the fire pit as we brought our own wood. Host allowed us to bring in our own real christmas tree and Set up. Family time wells spent

The house is completely stocked with kitchen items. This is our 2nd time staying here and we are planing another trip next year. The game room was a big hit with the kids and adults. Great place to rent!

What a wonderful cabin and location! My family and I had a wonderful Thanksgiving in a beautiful location. Everything is just as described - the game room is probably better than described. my family likes to cook and the kitchen facilities were great with almost every utensil/appliance you will need (three mash potato mashers? four pizza cutters?). Great view, comfortable rooms, good communication with host. Would recommend and come again. We were 12 - 9 adults and three older kids and everyone had a blast. Thanks, Ted!

We absolutely loved our stay here! There were 15 of us, 9 adults and 6 kids, and there was plenty of space! The kids loved the hot “pool” and the game room the most! We spent the weekend celebrating my mom’s 70th birthday! We will definitely be back soon to stay even longer!

This house is great for large groups. Some places use branches as stair rails, this place uses them as well as Full Trees.Family from out of town all stayed here together for my daughter's wedding and they all agreed they wished they had had more time to enjoy being at the house.Beds in these rentals are often not the best but these were adequate with only two of the rooms mentioning anything negative regarding comfort to me after the stay. One of the first floor beds was so massive you almost needed a ladder to get in. :)If you are coming in from out of town and not used to narrow switch-back gravel roads, just take your time once you have left the pavement - you will make it. My family from MN (where everything is pretty straight and flat) said the road was intimidating. To me it was just one of the every day roads to so many peoples' homes around here.From what I am told, everything was clean and in good working order other than the cook light for the stove which they could not get to work.For your next multi-family trip to this area do give this one some good thought, it has plenty of space and keeps everyone under one roof.

Loved this cabin. Our extended family of 13 fit perfectly around the gorgeous table, and there were plenty of towels, pots, pans, plates, utensils, and glasses. Clean hot tub, great fire pit, pool table, games, plenty of space and awesome views. One negative was no grab bars in the showers. There should also be more said in the description about the super steep grade of the very long, twisty driveway. We were not prepared for going up that monstrosity in the dark the first time! The cabin is very remote and far away from things, which was sort of good, but going anywhere on what felt like neverending curving roads was challenging sometimes. We were given lots of pretty strict directions for check-out, like to strip linens off beds and to take all our trash to the station several miles away, which was strange, but we enjoyed our stay.

Amazing views! Everyone had an amazing time with all of the amenities. Road is super steep to get to the cabin but it is worth it for the solitude once you arrive. Plenty of room for our whole family group of 13. Would definitely book again.

It was lovely. Everyone enjoyed the house and especially the nice big deck with beautiful views of the the mountains.

Great cabin for our family reunion/90th Birthday!

we have stayed for several years at this cabin and Love it. House cleaner needs to spend a little more time on the mopping and a few area. But it didn't;t stop us from enjoying the cabin and each other. We missed part of the family that couldn't make it. we are looking forward to another trip soon.

I take my whole family on vacations and this, by far was the best accomodations we have experienced. The place was clean, spacious, organized and fit our group(7 adults and four kids) perfectly. The view was out of this world and the covered porch was perfect for enjoying the view. The game room kept everyone busy in the evenings with pool tournaments and and the other games. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for preparing meals.

We had a wonderful time . The cabin was more than we expected. Very roomy with things to do even on rainy days . Absolutely beautiful and will go again hopefully.

We had a wonderful stay with our adult children and grandchildren. The house was very clean, well stocked, and family friendly. The views from the deck were outstanding. Plenty of space for a large group and a great base to visit the area. Tom answers messages quickly through the app.

We had a large group of friends and family to gather to celebrate my son's graduation from WCU. We had 15 people comfortably stay in this awesome cabin. The deck in the back is HUGE and was a wonderful place to gather and share stories in the evening.

My large group of 14 adults thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Plenty of room, very clean home, something for everyone with the hot tub, game room and fire pit.

Had the best Spring break vacation - not all family could come, but 9 of us did and we could stretch out and not be all on top of each other! The Game room in the basement and the Hot tub on the lower deck SAVED us! 3 girls ages 9-12 were very entertained!! Even had 1 bedroom we didn’t even use!!! We will be back!!!

This large mountain cabin is hidden in the Cowee Valley. It has plenty of room and the views are incredible. The hot tub overlooking the valley is the highlight as well as the game room downstairs. We highly recommend staying here.

Had a Great time staying in this beautiful Cabin. The pictures does not do it Justice. I would definitely recommend. It was so peaceful.

Great location just a few minutes from town kids had a blast in the game room along with the jacuzzi place had plenty of room with comfortable beds we did struggle with the driveway in are AWD vehicles due to ice on the first night not owners fault cant control the weather but was taking care off pretty quickly no troubles the next couple of days still overall great stay and great communications with the owner who kept us up to date even before we arrived thanks again family enjoyed the trip wish we had more time

The cabin is excellent! The road to get there is a little steep and twisty, but that’s true about most mountain cabins with a view. The back porch was perfect. If we had been there in the summer, that’s where we would have gathered. We came with our adult children and my mother. There was plenty of space to be together and also to be apart. The basement game room was a huge hit. The “kids” connected their switch to the tv for games. There was also many games of pool, foosball and Pac-Man/galaga/burgertime. The long table in the kitchen was great for meals and board games. We also used the hot tub and fire pit. The one time there was an issue, the owner had it fixed in a timely manner. We hiked, went to Biltmore for a day, and just enjoyed the company. Great place, as expected, would definitely return!

Our stay was so family could attend my oldest’s WCU graduation. Spacious and fully stocked with plenty of bedding, kitchen utensils and entertainment. Thank you for a great stay!

We enjoyed our stay! The cabin was nice and peaceful. I loved the rocking chair on the back porch and spent a lot of time just sitting out there in the quiet and enjoying the view! The cabin overall was lovely and it was nice to stay there. Game room for the kids was what sold us on this cabin over many others! We don't have many complaints but I will list them if you are curious about what they were... but in no way would I say the cabin was bad. Beautiful cabin, beautiful view, in a beautiful town! We enjoyed it overall very much! We did have a few struggles and I will list them here in case you are interested: The driveway up to the cabin was very steep. ( I feel like that should be mentioned in the description. My mother called it a goat trail 😂). It was nerve-racking the first day till we got the hang of it after a few trips, ...but I literally said a prayer every time and hoped we didn't meet another driver coming or going opposite direction because there was only room for one car and no where to pull off and let them through ...and it would have been a nightmare to go backwards ( up or down!) to let them through. We liked that there were Plenty of towels and beds. I was able to wash towels and still have enough towels that were clean. The dryer needs servicing,barely dried and took forever. I heard our cook complain about the oven was very dirty. Some of the linen had holes ( blankets, towels, and the bed sheet) but didn't make them unusable. Cabin is all wood and ec

We had an amazing stay. The cabin was perfect for our whole family, 9 adults and grand daughter. Location was wonderful to get out and explore for hikes and shopping in downtown Franklin. Ted was a great host, communicating well. Thanks for a great week!
