Stayed Sep 12, 2025The property was wonderful and extremely peaceful. If you’re looking to get away to peace and quiet this is it. The driveway can appear a little intimidating for some but it’s honestly not that bad. If we’re back in the area, we will stay here again if it is available.

Stayed Jul 25, 2025We loved the peaceful surroundings, deck, and large open mountain home. The house is very well equipped with a full kitchen, games, washer & dryer, walking sticks, etc. Unfortunately, the WiFi and cell service was a bit spotty during our stay but the owner let us know in advance and was actively working on it. The one feature not fully explained in the listing is the very steep, gravel driveway that you have to navigate to get to the home. The owner told us all about it after we booked and we were able to negotiate it with an AWD vehicle, it’s something to be aware of (especially in bad weather). We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the house and would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful, quiet getaway.

Stayed Aug 2, 2024My family all came up to help to move a student to App State, and we picked this cabin because it was one level. The cabin was great, no neighbors around, beautiful landscaping, and extremely peaceful. Great communication with host was a plus. Highly recommend.
