Beachfront cabin, no bank waterfront Langley-eagles & whales. 10 steps to beach

It is a rustic cabin right on the water that’s a little beat up and cluttered. Be aware the drive down to the cabin is steep and narrow with minimal turnaround space at the bottom. You wouldn’t want to have an RV or trailer down there. Being right on the water was terrific, providing lovely wave sounds depending on the tide. We did see seals and eagles. With the tide out, there is semi-private beach with lots of space for kids and dogs which was great. The fenced yard is ok but not great for small dogs who could get under the gates and deck. The kitchen is well equipped albeit small. Temperature regulation could be difficult in the heat of summer or cold of winter. The host was not communicative. They called the neighbor who gave us the Wi-Fi code 2 days in. Overall it’s a good value and a nice rustic getaway place with a great view.

The photos do not do this house justice. The kitchen is larger than we expected and is well appointed. Our activities were in Langley and we were happy with how close we were. We walked on the beach one day, watched a fly fisherman from the porch for several hours another day.

Beach front at it's best! Our family has visited many times and hope to continue to visit for years to come!

A beautiful and relaxing place to unwind and watch eagles and seals.

The property was as magnificently located as the pics indicated. We went to sleep to the sounds of waves lapping on the beach, which was steps away. Even with rainy weather the views were stunning, lots of birds and seals(whales were apparently seen just down the shore). The cabin itself is charmingly retro, feels like a seashore cabin should. Everything was available with few, minor exceptions.(ex-wash rags & hand towels but plenty of bath towels) The only other glitch was a couple of communication issues. There was no up front instructions on WiFi password or checkout instructions. Life circumstances played a role in a delay of response from the owner, but it certainly wasn't a huge inconvenience for us waiting for WiFi and she got back within a few hours. We did feel bad that we did not get checkout instructions in time to follow requests of emptying trash & dishes. We did have an Overall excellent experience. Definitely recommend

The view can’t be beat. For me the place brought up extremely sentimental feelings because it is so similar to my family beach house on the mid-Oregon coast where I have gone for over 60 years. I absolutely loved it.

Driveway in was down a cliff ! The living area was wonderful .Having to go into unheated part of the house to bathroom was a bit inconvenient. It was not spic n span clean but acceptable . Clock needed batteries, light in bathroom burned out on us . I had no idea how to contact landlord / owner …I am not technical and could not get the internet to connect. Now the views were out of this world !!! Watching the water right at the bulkhead , the sea birds , the ever changing sky , hat island and today the cascade mts showed with their glistening white coatings …I could not stop taking pictures ! Beautiful deck that I would be living on in if it were summer! Very glad we had the chance to stay here .

Enjoyed a beautiful weekend. Sunrise over the island was spectacular. Accommodation was adequate in line with rustic older cabin

This rental was just perfect! The scenery was true to the photos. It was right on the beach, the high tide came up to the bulkhead of the property. The outside area was great and equipped well with chairs, table, and firepit. We enjoyed the humor of the neighbors’ life size sculptured horse by the edge of the deck. We spent many hours watching the birds and listening to the frequent squawks of the herons. The beach is great for walking when the tide is bout. Beautiful beach! The house was very clean, even in places I would expect to be dusty. The kitchen was very well-equipped, including a large pot to cook mussels or crab. The host was very responsive and texted us to tell us of forecast Northern Lights that night. It was a fabulous stay, and we are planning a return to this house next year.

My six year old had a blast playing on the beach and making smores! Home had everything you need for a small family trip. You can hear the water and waves at night and a small gated yard for a small dog Too! Lovely! Thank you!

Beautiful view and nice beach. House was cozy. Location was good.

The best part of this beach house is that it is right on the water, literally. When the tide is out, you can walk from the side gate to the expansive beach. When the tide is in, you are treated to the sounds of the waves.

From the sunrises to the evening beach sunsets, the sea life and water fun, just beautiful! There is something for everyone and the cabin was clean, comfortable and cozy for our group of 3 adults and 2 children.

Private beach, beautiful scenery, friendly neighbors. Eagles, otters, mountains, with gorgeous sunrise.

It was a cute place right on the beach! We had a wonderful time hanging on the front deck and walking the beach. Beds were comfortable and the neighbor next door was friendly and answered any questions we had.

We had a great time at this beach house! It was so relaxing to fall asleep and wake up to the sound of waves right outside the window. We saw bald eagles and a whale from the back porch. House had everything we needed for a family of 3. It was in a very nice area and a short drive to delicious restaurants. We will definitely try to book this house again soon!
